This section has info on some of my favorite computer games both old and new. I'll update the list as I play and replay more of the games in my library. Games Unreal Tournament 2004 OS: Windows Description: A fast paced first-person shooter that is notable for the sheer over the top action. Best bits: Fragging an opponent with a spread from your rocket launcher. Worst bits: Being on the receiving end of that same rocket salvo. Sid Meier's Pirates! OS: Windows Description: An adventurous look at life on the high seas during the age of pirates. Best bits: Gold, plunder and wooing the govenor's available daughter. Worst bits: A tad repedative if you play it for any length of time. Sword of the Stars OS: Windows Description: An excellent 4X space game. Best bits: The real-time tactical ship-to-ship combat resolution. Worst bits: The massive scale means that it takes a good long time to finish a game. Supreme Commander OS: Windows Description: If games were food, than SC would be chocolate cheescake. Best bits: Lots of units engaged in all-out war on a huge map. Worst bits: Slowdowns, even with a recent CPU and video card..  |
