Welcome to the website for the Monroe County Minutemen (MCM), of Monroe Michigan. 

 

     Over the years, the "Militia" has recieved a bad name, mainly due to biased and inaccurate reporting from the liberal media.  So, before I get in to who we are, I'd like to start off by telling you who we are not!  We are not skinheads, we are not neo-nazis, we are not extremists looking to blow up buildings, we are not looking to overthrow the American government, although crimes of sedition and treason against the Constitution and the American people should be prosecuted. Our country was founded as a Republic not a democracy.

     What we are is just common ordinary men, women, and children from every walk of life who, seeing the direction our country is taking, have come together to ensure the our survival (and the survival of American ideals) in the event of natural disaster, economic collapse, hostel take-over, or even enemies from within.  We have already seen that our Government cannot (and should not!) be the one we run to in the event of an emergency.  This was plainly evident in New Orleans.  We must be able to survive and take care of ourselves.  That is the purpose and function of the MCM.  To train our people to be able to handle any situation that arises thus ensuring our survival and that of our children.
