When I became part of the echuNET crew, Heather started going on about how all us stafflings totally needed to make sites for the domain. Now, making my decision on what to do wasn't difficult at all as I, admittedly, am a total and complete Mara Jade fangirl. As you'll see stated on many different occasions throughout this site, I think she kicks major ass. Like, the kind of ass that just makes you think, 'God, Mara pwns your mom!'. Because she does. She really does.

...but I digress. While a lot of the characters of the EU already have fansites linked at Kessel Run (previously SMWU), Mara's lack of fansite was a glaring error that I intended with this chance to correct. Because she needs a fansite and she needs it bad. Those of you who catch on quickly already know why. Thus, this site was born. Yay or something.

The name Suffer Well comes from the song by the same name by Depeche Mode. While the general concensus is that it's about the lead singer's suicide attempt, I decided that the lyrics, when looked at differently, were totally perfect for Mara in an attempt to describe the way that she was 'saved' from having to live in her past:
