"Employee of the Quarter"

Boyd Boyd Seelig was chosen to be the September, October, November, December 2006 “Employee of the 4th Quarter” by the residents and staff. Born in Lisbon, Boyd lived in the Lisbon for the first 5 years of his life. From there he lived in many different cities and states but came back to Lisbon in 1966 and graduated from Lisbon High School. He served in the Army from 1969 – 1971, spending 1970-1971 in Vietnam. After celebrating his discharge, Boyd started working at Melroe Manufacturing Company, now known as “Bobcat”. He worked there from 1971 – 2003 as a foreman. Not one to stay idle (or as his wife said “Get back to work, you cannot rearrange my cupboards!”). Boyd then went to work at the Lisbon Bissell Golf Course and started party time at the NDVH in May of 2005 and went full time in July 2006 in the maintenance department. Boyd married his loving bride and together they have three daughters and two granddaughters. When he isn’t working really hard Boyd enjoys kidding around with the residents and staff, hunting, working on “Hemi-Su”, managing the apartment building he and his wife lives in. Congratulations Boyd – you deserve it and we’re glad to have you here. You make life much more fun!
