Center ring: 1-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-1, cut and tie.


Round 1:
Ring: 4-4+4-4, rw
Chain: 4-4-4-4, rw
* Ring: 4+4+4-4, rw
Chain: 4-4-4-4, rw

Continue around from * .
8 rings in all, last joined to the first.
Cut and tie.

 

Round 2: designed by Rebecca

Ring: 3-3+ (to middle picot of any chain on center) 3-3
Chain: 16-16 JK (the picot is to enable the next round to be   joined. It will twist with your chain and will not be visible like a normal picot).


Cloverleaf:
Ring: 3-4+ (to last p on prev. ring) 3-3
Ring: 3+3-3-3
Ring: 3+3-3-3
Chain: 16-16 JK
Ring: 3+ (to center p of last ring in cloverleaf) 3+ (to p of next chain in center) 3-3


Repeat all the way around, joining last cloverleaf to first ring.

Ring: 4-4+ (- chain after a single ring on round 2) 4-4, rw
Chain: 4-4 DNR


Trefoil: Ring: 4+ (- of chain just worked) 4-4-4 DNR
            Ring: 4+ (last - prev. ring) 4-4-4 DNR
            Ring: 4+ (last - prev. ring) 4-4-4 DNR


Chain: 4+ (last - prev. ring) rw
Ring: 4-4+ (to - on next chain from prev. round) 4-4 rw
Chain: 4-4-4-4


Repeat around, joining last chain to base of first ring.

Cloverleaf:
         Ring: 4-4-4-4
         Ring: 4+4+ (center p of chain prev. round) 4-4
         Ring: 4+4-4-4, rw


Chain: 5-5-5-5-5-5+ (p on center leaf of clover from prev. round)
Chain: 5-5-5-5-5-5


Repeat with cloverleaf and continue pattern until there's a total of 8 cloverleafs and 16 chains.


Join last chain to beginning cloverleaf and hide ends.
