Vancouver Station Gets Jingle Package from ReelWorld

Just hours after the after the release of ReelWorld’s latest News/Talk jingle package for AM 770 CHQR in Calgary, Alberta, news has just broke out about a new jingle package for another Canadian station, this time in British Columbia’s largest city – Vancouver.

Report has it that legendary CKNW News Talk 980 is updating its imaging to further strengthen its already established on air presence in Vancouver, and part of which is the employment of a jingle package from no less than ReelWorld Productions in Seattle.

Listen to the preview of this mystery ReelWorld package for CKNW. Could this be a resung of the recent CHQR package? Or is it another spanking news talk imaging tool from ReelWorld?

And speaking of CHQR and ReelWorld, we would like to congratulate both for such a successful collaboration. ReelWorld, after a considerable gap in producing news/talk jingles, has finally updated its News-Talk and Sports section. Despite a very busy quarter for the launching of ReelWorld ONE, the guys pulled it off this year.

CHQR also gained numerous nods from both listeners and the broadcast industry for conceptualizing an innovative news-talk jingle package. Earlier this year, the station received various comments regarding the use of Sean Caldwell’s voice. Despite this, CHQR managed to regain its reputation in Alberta as the leader not only in radio programming but also in imaging and production.

CHQR, which underwent four ownerships since its inception in 1964, has always been remembered by many fans for its famous Dallas jingles.
