Welcome to the new website for the forum game Noxt Aislinn. It is still very much a work in progress, please be patient!
Site Rules
1) Be courteous to one another out of character, and be courteous to all moderators and admins.
2)This is a moderate-advanced roleplaying board. I don't expect five paragraphs at five sentences each for every post, just give it your best. No two-liners, folks. That being said, don't go on and on if you don't have to. Commons sense works best.
3)No one under 14 is allowed to play on this board, period. Maturity is a must beyond that, regardless of age. There will be sex, drugs, violence, and all sorts of other nastiness.
4) As far as sex, drugs, and violence go, don't overdo it. (EDIT: Sex scenes do not have to fade to black, though if you are uncomfortable with the actual act, feel free to use fades. If you wish to type out the entire sex scene, fine by me, but BE WARNED: anything that comes off to me as just plain 'cybering' will get you a warning. I want my posts written well, and I want my sexual posts written twice as well. I'm a picky smut reader.) Drug abuse is fine, just be realistic about it. There are negative consequences to drug use, show them. With the subject matter of the game, violence is to be expected. Again, don't overdo it. We don't need splatter by splatter descriptions.
5)No godmoding, power-posting, etc. etc. "Joe attempted to stab Bob." is fine. "Joe stabbed Bob over and over until he was dead." is not. Unless Bob is an NPC, your own little guy in the thread for flavor, that's fine. You cannot kill or injure or otherwise affect another Player's character without ASKING, and having them send an admin or mod their ok.
6) Read all of the information given to you. Our vampires are not Anne Rice's vampires, our elves are not Lord of the Rings characters. The setting is unique, and there are certain factors that go into character creation that are a must. READ EVERYTHING. I'm not going to make a silly password to make sure you did it, because it will be obvious if you didn't.
7)Please keep signatures 500x200 or smaller. I think anything bigger tends to look tacky.
8) Register with your characters first and last name. Ex: Ranger Danger. You must register a new account for each character.
9) Have fun, and note that these rules are subject to change at any time.
