Ohio District Key Club-Division 18 East

Dear Division 18E Key and Kiwanis Clubs,

            Hello!! My name is Jordan Sharp and I am your new 2008-2009 Division 18E Lt. Governor. I am currently finishing up my junior year at Cambridge High School and soon be a senior. I have been busy with other organizations such as American Cancer Society, stand, bands, and of course key club.

            I joined Key Club at the beginning of my sophomore year. I had no idea how involved I would become; my first year as a member I placed seventh for having the most service hours. I was then elected as Vice President for my junior year. Key Club has allowed me to grow as a leader and now serve on the Ohio District board as your lt. governor for the 2008-’09 academic year.

            This year I hope to make contact with all of our Key Club and Kiwanis Clubs. I plan to hold divisional meetings, as well as projects, where all clubs are welcome to attend and I hope we can account for one representative from each club every time. I would also hope sponsoring Kiwanis clubs would grace us with their presence.

            Although the end of the school year can be hectic, remember this is the start of the Key Club year. I am open to any ideas of summer projects and any dates convenient to hold a divisional meeting. PLEASE do not hesitate to give suggestions or ask questions.

Also, International Convention in Denver, Colorado is approaching quickly. The first payment of $350 should be postmarked by May 16, 2008. The tour dates are July 9-15, 2008. For more information on attending ICON, please contact me and I would be honored to help you!
