My name is Louise, though I'm better known on the net as Maetharanel or Mae. Originally I called this site 'Only in Dreams' but I wanted a name that was a bit more creative and I came up with 'Vortex of Reminiscences' I believe that you should be able to figure out how it suits.

For my digital fanart I use a pentablet, PhotoShop Elements 2.0 and Corel Painter Essentials 2. I'm hoping to get Corel Draw in the future. I get the majority of my inspiration from John Ronald Reul Tolkien, the creator of the legendary Lord of the Rings and the mythical World of Arda. I find myself obsessed both with his works and Peter Jackson's version of the Lord of the Rings film. Since the hype of the 'Rings' films has sadly passed by with time, I've found myself becoming more and more obsessed. I've also become quite attached to numerous other fantasy movies, most recently, the russian film 'Night Watch Nochnoi Dozor'. Other films include the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The X-Men trilogy, Serenity, King Arthur, King Kong, Pirates of the Caribbean just to name a few. And there's only one TV show that I pay much attention to and that is LOST. For now, I hope I've given you enough general information.
