Painted Dreams Farm is a small, family owned farm in South Carolina that raises a few good foals a year. We have raised and loved horses all of our lives. Having been raised on a 350 acre ranch in Texas, we have done just about everything you can do on horseback. We love all breeds of horses. We are proud to be the owners of PD California Dreamin, who we purchased from a ranch in Anaheim Hills, California, along with his mother, when "Dreamin" was 9 months old. The trip to get them was one we shall never forget. We have never regretted purchasing Dreamin. He is a wonderful sire, and a great horse. He throws beautiful, correct babies, no matter if he is bred to a Paint, Quarterhorse, Draft breed or an Arabian, the resulting foals are exceptional. He passes along his beautiful movement and sweet temperament to his foals, and because of Dreamin's versatile bloodline, the foals can be trained to be anything you want. They make great all-round horses for show or pleasure. Take a look at some of his foals, and I think you'll agree that a foal by PD California Dreamin can "make your dreams come true", whatever they are!!!!
Above is Dreamin's sire, Movin To the Music. Music is triple registered. Music, at one time, was second in the Nation in OCAP dressage. He acquired 90 lifetime points. He is a black and white, homozygous APHA stallion, and stands 16.1 hands tall. He passed on his gorgeous movement to his son, PD California Dreamin. He has sired many wonderful foals himself, with no solids.
Above is Dreamin's dam, Smooth Gamble. She stood 16.1 hands tall and was a black and white tobiano mare. She was an own daughter of Smooth N Easy, and has many greats in her bloodline. We had sold Gamble to some very nice people a couple years back who had given her a wonderful home. Gamble passed away last year and has been sorely missed by all those that love her. PD California Dreamin has sired about 45 foals to this point. Only a very few have been solids. He has done an exceptional job in passing on his wonderful traits to these babies and we have been proud of each one. Outside mare owners have stated the same thing about their babies.
Dreamin stands at stud to registered outside mares for a fee of $500. Booking fee of $50 applies towards breeding fee.
PD California Dreamin stands 15.2 hands tall, was foaled in 1997. He is a black and white tobiano, with a partial blue eye. He is a joy to own, and a pleasure to watch. Dreamin is unshown, not due to his inability, but due to our lack of time.
