We,
Patricia and Julliet are two Colombian professionals living in the beautiful
country of Costa Rica.
Combining our love of nature and art, we have dedicated the last four years to this style of painting decorative tiles.
HAND PAINTED TILES
This style of tile decoration dates back to II a.d. when the Persians, finally liberated from Arabic oppression, had a renaissance of artistic expression.
Starting with a tile painted in white enamel, the artist begins a process of stamping, painting and finally baking until the desired finish is obtained.
Inspired by the natural beauty of this country, two Colombian artisans have settled here to join this ancient process with motifs found in the flora and fauna in Costa Rica.
