Simple Plan is a band of five Canadian members. It was formed in the year of 1999, wherein Bouvier and Comeau met on a certain concert and decided to start a new band after quitting on a previous group called Reset. They called in the rest of the members whereas Desrosiers, the vocals of Reset (after Bouvier left) also quit Reset and joined Simple Plan. Then the rest of the band joined in. Their first breakthrough was the tour with Sugar Ray, and after releasing the song "Perfect" in their debut album No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls; they became a worldwide success that lead them to tour the Canada, US, UK and other parts of Asia as well.

In the latter part of October 2004, they released their sophomore album called Still Not Getting Any featuring 11 tracks, including the chart-busting singles "Welcome to My Life", "Shut Up!", and their newest "Untitled(How Could This Happen to Me?)". After making the CD, they started touring all around the world again, this time collaborating with Avril Lavigne at her Southeast Asia tour called "BoneZ Tour 2005". They started out as an opening band for Lavigne. They toured certain parts of Asia (Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, including Philippines).

Simple Plan set foot on the Philippines last March 31, 2005 together with Avril Lavigne. And according to the crowd, their performance was "ground-breaking", certainly an event they will never forget. And those people who only went to see Avril Lavigne took interest on Simple Plan and became fans, thus this team was formed. We were aimed to promote Simple Plan here in the Philippines, and who knows? We might get a chance to meet them at their next concert here in our country! :)
