Hi this is Morningstar Zuniga: former first female, and non-human president of the former United States and first dog to be elected as California Governor before that.
I want to wish you all a happy new year on this auspicious and very awesome day!
We created this website for our book tour on the 100 year anniversary of
The Awakening.
My close friends and I have kept track of the events in journals and memoirs and compiled them all into a book that you can order on line very shortly.
As every one knows,"The Awakening" pertains to some very important changes that came about in the early 21st century from 2017 to the present, 2117.
On September 23rd of 2017 a very low frequency noise; below the threshold of human hearing, was heard by animals all over the earth.
I like to refer to it as The Plangent Noise because it sounded so beautiful to us and was so soothing and healing. Gradually over a period of weeks and months we gained new cognitive powers and began to learn to communicate with humans.
The beautiful noise eventually subsided to below even the dolphin hearing threshold. We have since created such sensitive instruments that we have discovered that it still exists and continues to help our brains and minds reintegrate at higher and higher levels of complexity. This low level vibration has even begun, finally, to effect some of the more sensitive humans on the planet.
This event changed the course of history in a very positive way. But things where not easy at first. Humans where terrified, and angry and animals where frightened and confused.
Humans where having emotional and spiritual breakdowns
Their entire thought structure had come in to question. Animals where learning things they should not have been able to. Evolution was speeding up drastically and none of the human scientists could explain this miracle.
This was not like some cutsie Disney or Pixar flick
In pre-awakening movies animals just happen to know how to talk and no one explains why or thinks any thing of it. No! This was shear chaos! You younger people will not remember when non-humans where kept under curfew and in some countries where forbidden to talk and where persecuted. Soldiers where called in to quell riots of humans who wanted to hurt animals.
National guard were called out to quell animal riots in the agricultural industry, the dog and horse racing industry and many people of all species died unnecessarily. No, we were not always one united peaceful group of people, human and animal alike.
Not all of our adventures were negative of course...
We where pioneers creating a new order. It was a very thrilling time to be alive! Things where simply a lot different from the way things are now. Voice activated technology was just coming out so animals had to cope with many limitations.
Being allowed to go outside alone much less, getting accepted into learning institutions was a big deal. Getting to vote and being allowed to earn a living where all very new ideas for a city animal.
For animals in the wild a gradual shifting from simple animal ways to building language and culture began to take place and is still in its infancy. Protecting these aboriginal groups has not been easy. Take a look at my husband Stieff's page to learn more about that.
