Sweepers Sweepers are supposed to do as much damage as possible before they are knocked out. They normally have strong, straightforward moves like Earthquake, occasionally with a stat-upping move like Swords Dance. There are three types of Sweepers: Physical, Special, and Mixed. Physical Sweepers use physical attacks, Special sweepers use special attacks, and of course, Mixed Sweepers use both. An example of a physical sweeper would be: Rhydon- Rock Slide, Double Edge, Earthquake, and Megahorn. An example of a Special Sweeper would be: Alakazam- Psychic, Calm Mind, Thunderpuch, and Ice Punch. Sweepers usually have good Attack/Special Attack and Speed. |
