Misty is a young girl that had been tagging along with Ash ever since he destroyed her bicycle. Over the seasons though, Misty seems to forget about her bicycle and concentrate more on Ash, Brock and her other friends' friendships. Misty is also the Cerulian Gym Leader. Misty Leaves the seasons at the end of Jhoto.

When Ash and Misty say bye to their good friend Brock in the orange islands, the two meet up with Tracey. Tracey's favorite hobby is drawing pokemon. Soon, Ash, Misty and Tracey were traveling in the orange islands. When the Jhoto Season began, Tracey left and became Professor Oak's assistant. In the pokemon Chronicles, Tracey is the mostly shown hero character. He is usually with Professor Oak or hanging around with Misty in her Gym (which sometimes causing people to think they are a couply ^^)

Todd Snap is a pokemon lover. He carries his camera everywhere he goes and takes pictures of pokemon he sees. He is not shown to have any pokemon with him though. Fans somehow, mange to think Misty has a crush on Todd in someway. In a pokemon episode, Cassidy steals Todd's Camera. Misty and Pikachu go and get it back for him. Also, in another pokemon episode, a boy, also known as misty's fiance, has made misty blush a lot and explode since he looks like Todd. Did Misty do that because she hates or loves Todd? No one knows. Todd is the main character of Pokemon Snap in the N64 and Wii

May is a pokemon trainer that Ash meets while going in search for pikachu who was sick when he arrived in Hoenn. May is a stubborn yet cheerful girl who dreams of becoming a top coordinator. Her main rivals include Drew and Harley. May shows a lot of interest in Ash. When May is sad, she turns to Ash for comfort and support. Ash and May tend to fight sometimes, but they are still good friends. (Some fans believe that May has a crush on Ash because she is always talking about love around him in the beginning of the seasons. She also said "Yes!" When Ash accepted her to be with him in the journey).

Age: First Appearance: 8 (currently predicted as 10 years)
First Pokemon: Max is younger than 10 in the anime, so he is not allowed to have pokemon yet.
Max is May's younger brother and accompanies Ash and May in their journey through Hoenn. Max is 8 years old, this means he cannot obtain any pokemon and train them to win gym battles or contests yet. Even though, Max befriends many pokemon in the anime and in the sixth movie.
