The purpose of pokemon box is to store your pokemon from your ruby and sapphire game into the gamecube memory card (this might have been made due to the many save loss that happen with fans). However, when storing your pokemon in pokemon box, you will just see their picture and that they are stored and some more info about them (level, stats, health etc.). Now, pokemon ranch is launched. Pokemon ranch is also a pokemon storage system that allows you to send your pokemon from your pokemon diamond and pearl games into the wii. When sending them, you can do many things with these pokemon! Special Effects When pokemon are transferred, they turn to chibi form. The chibi form makes them look small (not big) and cute. For example, a rapidash (the evolution of ponyta) will be the size of pikachu and in a cute form! Lopunny is a perfect cute example of chibiness in the pokemon stored in pokemon ranch. Your Mii Inside everyone wii, there is a channel called "The Mii Channel" the channel comes with the wii and is not a CD. In the mii channel, you create your own characters. Most people created a mii. When getting pokemon ranch and storing your pokemon, you can use your mii to walk around the ranch and look, pet and touch each and every pokemon you want to interact with!
