for the name of this site, I wanted something to do with Harry Potter (obviously), and something that was available on both piczo and freewebs. And it had to be simple. I was reading OOTP one day, (For the record, I was reading the fight in the dept. of mysteries) when the spell "Protego!" jumped out at me. It was perfect - and it was a spell:) and in my books, easy to remember. I added a dash because protego was taken. Anyways, I think it gives it a bit of originality! :) Kinda went on a bit, but that's how protego- was born. I sometimes want to change it, though.
BTW, all dates on this site are day/month/year, just to avoid any confusion. :)
