QuarterFlip. Made this for a challenge at work. Excpet the pictures and a part of it's animation, everything about the quarter is programmed. The two numbers in the middle, with the labels "F" and "R", are showing how many Flips and the ratio of HEADS/TAILS. Right now, if you set it to Autoflip, it stops at 100 as a good place to look at the stats.
Flash
New Drips - I saw effect made with java and I decided to make it in Flash. I still need to optimize it to run a little faster, but I'm pleased with it so far.
Mancala - I recently played this game with a friend. I thought it would be a good game to be my first game made in Flash. It's also my first project done completely in AS2.0.
Chinese Checkers - I created this for a Flash Class that a co-worker and I have been teaching at work. It's not complete, I haven't added in all the rules, but you can play a game, and I'm pleased with how the look turned out.
New Portfolio - Check out my portfolio that I used to apply to the Graphic Design at BYU.
Cube in Two Point Perspective - This is a study in two point perspective. I wrote two classes for this program, a line class and a dot class. Move the yellow dots. There is one of the front corner of the cube. Click the checkbox to hide/show the sides.
HFAC in One Point Perspective - A study in one point perspective. This is the beginning of the inside of one of the buildings here on campus called the HFAC. CONTROLS: Scroll to zoom. Move the dot inside the box (and above) to change the vanishing point. Move the dot to the right of the box to change the perspective. There is a dot in the upper left corner of the box, move it to reposition the box.
Strong Bad, with no legs. Now a talkie! - I was learning how to draw better in Flash here, but I ran out of time when I was working on it before I drew him some legs. I just learned some techniques on how to animate talking, so here is my practice at it. Now with Walls '96!
New Site - Here is a peak of the concept for my portfolio site that I'm building for myself. Move your mouse around the picture. The best spots are bottom right and middle left.
Box Maker and Color Component - These are my latest flash creations. The body of this one, where you make the boxes, was made so I could create an interface that uses tools, and learn how to do that. The color picker is a component (flash tool) that I made for just such flash programs as this one. They don't look like much, but I learned a lot figuring these out.
Hair - On the DVD of the Incredibles, they talked about how it was going to be tough to program the hair for the scene in the movie where the mother places the daughter's hair behind her ear. I wanted to see if I could do it. It doesn't say behind the ear, I may put that in later, but I got the hair to react pretty well. There is still a bug that I'm going to take out, but if you don't notice it, I'm not telling.
M&M Random Sampling Lesson - This was a project that a coworker, Brad Singley, and I made at work for a professor. Brad drew most everything, we worked together to get the M&M to spin. I wrote almost all the code, Brad wrote just a bit. Sorry the fonts are messed up.
Pacman Ghosts - Eat the ghosts by clicking on them.
Campfire - The beginnings of a games I'm making. Left and right make him walk. Hold shift then left or right to make him run.
Make Fire! - I learned how to make particles in this one and a lot of stuff. It's fun to play with this fire and make bubbles.
Shuffle only 7 Times - I heard my dad say once "If you shuffle a deck of cards more than seven times it goes back into the origional order." I thought that was rediculous. Rediculous! Turns out to be true though! If you shuffle the deck perfectly, like this program, eight times, then it goes back into the origional order.
Photoshop Pictures
New Portfolio - Check out my portfolio that I used to apply to the Graphic Design at BYU.

going to pieces - Here's the logo I made for one of my bands. I don't think it will be the final version, but I like it.
Victor - Victor Doroghian is a coworker of mine from Romania, which is where Transylvania is. My boss wanted me to turn him into a vampire, so voila!
Katie - This is Katie from my work. The little sign says "In Case of Video Emergency, Break Glass." I might make some posters for my work with this idea.
Will You Come? - I was looking at free pictures online to use in a picture that I'm making for work, and I saw this one with these strange things. I liked the picture, so I took my break and made this picture. The idea for the picture comes from an Invisible Swordsmen song, Inside Your Dreams. I actually have another idea for that picture, not really like this one, but the same scene. I hope to make it sometime soon. Made early July '05.
It's There - Made 8-03-05.
