Kenshin
Kenshin is the legendary man slayer, Battousai. He is really good at killing people. He quit slaying after killing his own wife one day. Later he met up with Kaoru and his journey begins all over again.

Kaoru
Kaoru is a fighter too. She is a sensei. She teaches her students that swords are to protect and help people, not kill. She saw Kenshin one day and thought he was Battousai and she charges into him. He end up telling her he's just a wanderer....
