Criteria

1. First Impression & Layout
The first impression of your site is a vital aspect, it helps your visitors to decide to stay, or just close the page. The layout has an equal importance, as it shows your style and creativity. If you haven't made the layout yourself, don't expect to get particularly high marks in this section.

2. CSS and use of HTML
Your coding and CSS develops the presentation of your site, and any errors can leave visitors unable to view your site. However, I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to coding, so there aren't many marks for this section. I will check the validation of both your HTML/XHTML and your CSS. I will also see whether your site has cross browser compatibility (i.e. works in different internet browsers)

3. Spelling and Grammar
Poor spelling and grammar is important to a lot of visitors, but it is often a chore to check everything, and everyone can make typos. This is why in this section I will highlight spelling mistakes across you site.

4. Visitor Content
Visitor Content helps to entice the visitors to come back. Here you will pick up marks for originality of your content, the amount of content you have, and the quality of the content. I may not review each individual page, but I will look at them all. If you do not have visitor content your overall mark will be out of 80, because we don't want to disadvantage people with no visitor content.

5. Other Pages
This is where I look at other pages, such as about you, site/domain pages etc. I will review them on their usefulness and general content. (e.g. How interesting they are)

6. Individuality
If your site is unique and unusual, in either content or design, expect good marks here. If your site is generic in style, using celebrity images for every layout or graphic, and with the same CSS as every other site out there, expect poor marks. This is basically where I mark you on how much your style and creativity shines through, this can be in both written and graphical content.

7. Organistation
To achieve high marks in this section, your site must flow in a logical order, and your content likewise. We are looking for categorisation and subdivisions. We will also assess how easy your site is to navigate.

Overall/Conclusion
Here I will give you your grade; 90 and over - A*, 80 and over - A, 70 and over - B, 60 and over - C, 50 and over- D, 40 And Over - E, 30 and Over - F, Under 30 - U. I will also tell you what I like most about your site here, I'm unlikely to mention any improvements as they will be in the above sections. I will also offer you my opinion of your site and how likely I am to return.
