Rules to submitting

If you are interested in submitting your story to the Rosings' Repository archive, simply read through these easy-to-follow rules.
  1. Although we are not elitist, we would like the stories that are submitted to have proper spelling and grammar, well developed plots, and nicely done dialogue.
  2. Try to stick to the original geography and landscape. If your story needs a new house where there isn't usually one, go ahead and create it. However, we do not want Pemberley to suddenly be beside Netherfield, or to have a desert next to Longbourn.
  3. If your story has couplings, please keep them realistic (meaning no Mrs Bennet/Mr Darcy, please).
  4. Before submitting your story, make sure you have put it through a spell check and have had it read by a beta-reader.
  5. All stories must be rated between G and R. We are not accepting lemons.
  6. We do not want stories about the actors. We are not interested in Matthew MacFadyen (however good looking he may be) or Colin Firth. This archive is for the characters of Pride and Prejudice.
  7. Slash is accepted as long as it meets the ratings.
  8. Crossovers, Alternate Universes, and Parodies are welcome, as long as we are still able to recognize that it is a Pride and Prejudice fanfiction.
  9. Absolutely no Mary-Sues (if you are unsure wether your character is a Mary-Sue or not, ask someone to beta-read your story for you).

  • Name: (as you want it to appear on your story)
  • Email:
  • URL: (if you have one)
  • Story Title (and chapter number if applicable):
  • Main Characters: (list original characters as OC)
  • Relationship Pairings: (N/A if none)
  • Rating: (G, PG, etc.)
  • Category: (general, drama, humor, etc.)
  • Length: (short story, or estimated number of chapters)
  • Brief Summary: (one or two sentences)
You will also have to join the forum and give us your forum ID. This is to give you a place to receive feedback from other.

PLEASE NOTE: Only completed stories will be posted on the website. If your story is a work-in-progress, feel free to simply post it the forum until it is complete.
