Ardliath is a family run holiday home in Rossnowlagh. Rosnowlagh is regarded by many as the most scenic and dramatic beach in the Northwest of Ireland. Only 16km south of Donegal Town, the beach has fantastic views of Donegal Bay.
There are beautiful views of the sea and countryside from the house, which can be enjoyed while eating meals in the conservatory. Whether you are looking for a family holiday, or simply want to relax, this is the house for you!
Rossnowlagh beach is popular for all sorts of watersports, board sailing, surfing and water skiing. It was one of the first places to be surfed in Ireland, and is ideal for beginners and longboarders, especially around Autumn when the waves are at their best. Surf equipment can be hired from the surf club which is on the sea front.
As well as surfing, there are lots of walks and hilltop climbs nearby. For example, from the beach you can see 'Slieve League', the highest sea cliffs in europe. On top of this, The local restaurants are renowned throughout the north west of Ireland and beyond for their sea food. For example, there is Creevy Pier Inn, which is very close to the house.
