Ye Olde Prologue Long ago, in a world before the land of Gaia, there existed a land overrun by two species of godly power and near-immortality: the demons and the angels. An unknown reason caused these two groups to clash together in a major conflict known as the Angelus War. It is said that the demons were the victors of this war, because the angels have long since disappeared from the planet Gaia. The chaos of the war caused the giant mass of land on the planet to separate into two different continents, known as the Eastern and Western Continents. These continents are on either side of the planet; they have been so for thousands of years. The people on these bodies of land may never leave, for it is impossible to cross the vast expanse known as the Sea of Gaia. When the Angels had been defeated in the Angelus War, it is rumoured that they were not all felled by their enemies; some of them fled to a faraway land, where no one would be able to find them. It is unknown where this land lies, and if the angels really do still exist, along with Elves, Dwarves, and many other creatures. It is also rumoured that the war was started because of the actions of a single being, and that he or she continues to live to this day, along with the hatred that they possessed for thousands of years. Gaia sounds like an interesting place, does it not? If you were to live there, however, you would probably think otherwise. This is a world filled with dangers, monsters, and mysteries left untold for centuries. One day, these mysteries will be solved, but who the one who solves them will be is yet another mystery. As trouble arises in the year 5000 A.W. (after the war), a group of heroes and heroines may have what it takes not only to save the world from certain destruction; but also to unravel the inexplicable mysteries of their mythical planet. Whether they succeed in their endeavours or not is entirely dependant on the strength of their hearts, their courage, and determination, as well as the power of their friendship. Will justice prevail? Or will the darkness conquer? It is in the hands of fate, as you will discover as you read Hiroshi's World. Download the Chapters! About Hiroshi's World Well then, Hiroshi's World is a story by the people of RPGenesis. Our active members each thought up their own character, and I, ms_nintendo, made a story from there. Of course, I didn't come up with the characters' backgrounds and pasts, those were created by their creators at RPGenesis! It will be the story of a girl named Sakura, a summoner who is on a journey to discover her lost past, and to obtain the power of all the Guardian Spirits of the world, Gaia (i refrained from calling them aeons lol) and to use their powers for the sake of protecting all the people of her earth. However, she meets many friends on her way and they all join her for that cause. Though there are many foes as well, there is one in particular that is either directly or indirectly involved with each character's past life or current situation... WARNING: Though Hiroshi's World is an entertaining story, keep in mind that certain concepts of the story are not appropriate for children under the age of 13. Such concepts as violence, suggestive/sexual themes, and mild profanity. You have been warned. If you happen to have any comments on the story so far, please feel free to post them below! I'd love to know what you think! |
