BIO

Fraternal twins CeeCee and Kaylie Richards were born on July 18th, 1989. They had a love for music and knew how to play 7 instruments but the age of 8. In fifth grade, they met shy and timid A.J. Johnson at school, born on January 13, 1989, who played bass in her father's band at her local family-owned restauraunt. The three girls became friends instantly, but only two shared the dream of becoming famous one day. CeeCee asked A.J. to ask her father if they could get a spot at the restaurant, but A.J. quickly declined. A.J. "knew she could play, but didn't want to make a fool of herself and her friends." After all, she always insisted on playing in the very back in her father's band where no one could notice her. But it took Kaylie's loving personality to encourage her and promise to help her through. The next day, A.J. came to school with her answer: Yes, and her father had also approved. CeeCee would play lead guitar, Kailee would play drums, and A.J. would play bass. The Sassy Sims were born. That following Saturday night, they performed their first original song, "Perfect," in front of a crowd of more than 50 people, and they were a hit. Among those 50 people was Angelica Charmichael, born August 9, 1988, who skillfully played piano and belonged to a family of rich lawyers. Even though she lived about 20 miles away, she loved music and loved seeing how much fun the girls were having up on stage, and wanted to meet them. She walked up on stage, curtsied, and complimented the girls on their music. They all said hearty "thank-you's" and walked away. Angelica saw this wouldn't be easy. She tried to catch up to them again, but her father puller her away. It was time to go home. CeeCee, Kailee, and A.J. were excited about their successful debut performance, and couldn't wait to spread the news around school. But the next day was Sunday, so they would have to wait. At church the next morning, the girls got up on stage and performed "Amazing Grace" with the choir, and were once again complimented. One compliment was from Marissa Billards, born October 3rd, 1989, the choir's lead singer. Her family didn't have much money and she was struggling to find a way to make ends meet. She complimented the girls and pretty soon they were talking like they had all known each other for their enitre lives. The three told Marissa about their band at the restaraunt and invited her to join, for it would be great if they had a singer. She said she would talk to her parents about it, they exchanged numbers, and the three Sassy Sims left the church and piled into A.J.'s parents' car. The girls stayed over at A.J.'s that night. They wrote songs and performed for A.J.'s parents multiple times. This was truly what they loved to do.

A year later, when the three, and Marissa, were beginning middle school, they ran into a familiar face at their new school. Angelica recognized them immediatley and tried to start a conversation, but was cut off by the school bell ringing, signaling the next class. It was just as hard to get their attention as it was a year ago. The seventh-grader really wanted to talk to them, to get to know them and possibly join their band. She figured lunch would be a good time to start. At lunch, she sat at their table and struck a conversation, doing what she had been waiting so long to do. Chemestry was certainly there. Eventually, she brought up that she played piano. The girls weren't sure if she would be right for the Sassy Sims, but one trip to music class's piano and they were convinced. Angelica was one of the best piano players they had ever seen and was automatically invited to perform with them the next Saturday. The three were excited, they finally had a pianist and a voalist. Their band was really coming together. After about a week of practicing the new song, the girls debuted "Everything I Know" in front of the restaraunt and recieved a standing ovation. Marissa and Angelica were officially members of the Sassy Sims.

It was the first year of high school, the second for Angelica, and finally all of the girls were in the same school. They were still performing at A.J.'s dad's restaraunt, but they were craving something new, something bigger. Finally, Angelica had the answer to everything: her mother was the lawyer of Steven Price, the owner of SimsCity Records and had scored an interview with him the next Saturday. All the girls were excited, except for Marissa, who had to take care of her sick mother and her siblings that next Saturday while her father was at work. What was she going to do? This was their big chance, and she was about to ruin it. "Don't worry," Angelica said. "I've got it covered." In the blink of an eye, she had run over to the office phone and dialed Steven's number. "Uh huh, uh huh, yea ok, thank you!" Angelica hung up the phone and walked passed the girls. "It's been rescheduled for next Saturday." And that was that.

So the girls auditioned for Steven and he thought they were great. In a matter of days, they had a record deal with SimCity records. They recorded a CD the next year, releasing their old singles "Perfect" and "Everything I Know," and even a new song "Dancing All Night." But not everything went well. Even though "Perfect" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100, "Everything I Know" reached No. 2, and "Dancing All Night" also reached No. 1, their album sales did not do well, and the Sassy Sims began to go unnoticed. The girls kept trying all through high school, though, but decided to take a break from the music scene for a couple years to go to college. They all scattered across the nation, eventually talking less and less (except for Kailee and CeeCee). But the girls were reunited after four years by Steven, who held a conference at the SimCity Records Main Building. He told them that if they don't put an album out in the next two years, they would be dropped from SimCity Records. Now, about 1 year later, the Sassy Sims have graduated from college and are back and stronger than ever, ready to release their second album, "A Million Words," on Angelica's birthday, August 9th. They put out the singles "Summer's Soothing Sounds" and "A Crazy Dream," which both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Ready to release their next single sometime in October, "Something For Everybody," and planning a worldwide tour with SimCity's famous singer SimmySim, the Sassy Sims are wating to see what will happen next, and hope to one day be bigger than they ever imagined, and want to be an influence to others and Share their music with the world.
