the name

well here's a brief story about how my site came to be satin-skies. i got satin-skies, because one of my favourite web owners has a site name satinskies.net, and i just like that name. she has another site named make-it-count.org, and it's a Titanic website, and if you know me, i just LOVE TITANIC! so i stumbled across her other site, satinskies, but i didn't want to completely steal her name, so i added a dash lol.

history

the first site that i ever made, was a piczo site, and was name tangerine-spice. i never really new what web-designing was, until i got some pretty nasty comments saying that my site sucked :(. so i started looking at other people's work and i adapted to it, and made my site up pretty good. after about half a year of that, i got tired of my website, so i closed it...soon after that, i opened another site name satin-skies, on piczo as well.so after a while of piczo again, i wanted to see what else there was. i joined freewebs with the same name. i got really good, and i was getting a lot of grat comments! i then wanted to get my own domain, but i didn't want to pay for it, so i decided to apply for sub-domain hosting. after a few applications, luckily, regina at douteux.net kindly accepted me. i still have my same name, satin-skies, and i think that one day, i'll get a domain of my own and still keep the same name. well that's about it. hope you now have a better understanding of "why satin-skies".
