What a large mess I've gotten myself into! It was a materialistic problem that I have identified and have conquered!! ALL CREDIT CARDS ARE CUT UP AND CANCELLED.
I have drowned in debt. I have a total of $15,000 Unsecured Debt and need help. I work full time and work any overtime I can to help payoff my debt. I have taken charge and have been enrolled in a Credit Counseling/Management program for over a year. I will continue contributing $410.00 every month plus any extra I receive. They counseling agency has predicted me being out of debt in 4 more years. $410.00 x 48 = $19,680. Keep in mind, this amount is more because they figure in accrued interest. If I can get them paid off sooner, the less the interest = Sooner Payoff. My credit score is only 608. I'll never be able to buy a home in the future more or less a car when mine dies! Let's hope my score goes up and my debt goes down!
When this is said and done, I plan on a total transformation... meaning a "free" feeling. I feel trapped. Those credit card companies encounter the young. As for me, they offered me a credit card at the age of 18. That 1 that came back "approved" turned into several on down the line. I would love to start a non-profit organization with teenagers in mind, that will teach them about credit cards and the trouble they can get you in.
