C O S T & R E G I S T R A T I O N
With regards to our application instructions, the condition governing our applications are that, The duration of the voluntary program is flexible but a minimum of two months to a maximum of one year is preferable.
The duration of other projects is more flexible and depends on the type of project and the concerned participants.
The duration and intensity of stay is negotiated upon ideally before participants arrival.
And Note, all applicants must be 18years and above.

3) Participants themselves will organize visa, flight tickets, vaccinations, insurance and other required documents. Country coordinators will do their best to be of help when needed.

4) Participants will be responsible for themselves during their stay in Ghana.

5) Participants will stand for all their additional costs while in Ghana.

6) Sedarvp-Ghana's program fee plus the costs for the host family need to be with Sedarvp at least two months prior to departure.

7) After the selection of the participants they are required to attend a preparation meeting in their home country organized by the country coordinator, that is if there is any coordinator available in that country. From what you have read so far are the participant responsibilities.
And our responsibilities are ,

8) For participants who attend the voluntary program Sedarvp-Ghana has the responsibility to find a workplace and a host family. For participants who attend an educational program Sedarvp-Ghana has the responsibility to arrange the program and find the participant a host family. Sedarvp-Ghana will always be available to help with all that is possible and to answer questions.
10) When arriving in Accra participants will have a one-day orientation.
When arriving in the town/village of work placement Sedarvp-Ghana will provide another three days of orientation to get used to the culture and learn basic things.

11) When visa extension is needed Sedarvp-Ghana takes the responsibility in extending it when they find it appropriate. The additional costs will be at participant's own expense. Now with regards to our financial matters,

12) If participant have paid the program fee and later for any reason cancel the trip they will not get their program fee returned to them.

13) If participant leave Tamale earlier then planned Sedarvp-Ghana is not required to pay the program fee back.

14) If circumstances beyond control by the participant occur or Sedarvp-Ghana cancels the program earlier then planned part of the program fee will be paid back depending on how big part of the program time has passed.

15) If Sedarvp-Ghana is not for some reason fulfilling decided duties the program fee will be paid back., Last but not the least, and here we talk of the participant obligations.

16) During their stay in Ghana participants

should always be in time to work.
should always work on the hours decided upon.
should follow the rules given by Sedarvp-Ghana staff or working placement staff.
should respect the rules of the host family / other accommodation.
17) Traveling during the program period is restricted. In exceptions to this an agreement with Sedarvp-Ghana, the program placement and the participant has to be formally agreed upon.

18) At the end of the program the participant is obliged to write a report about their experiences during their stay in Ghana.

19) Participants are required to keep in contact with their country coordinator by sending them a monthly report. 20) Participants are obliged to inform their country coordinator when they have returned to their home country for an evaluation on their stay in Ghana.

21) When participants have signed the agreement form they are entitled to follow the Sedarvp-Ghana conditions..
