RECEPTION:
Visitors coming from outside Ghana will be received in Accra
The organizer will meet them at the airport and further assist them to get a hotel and check in.
They shall be shown around the city and other places of interest at their own cost.
They shall be in Accra for 4 days after arrival and then proceed to Tamale on the 5th day.
+ ACCOMODATION: Shall or will be provided to volunteer’s base on their wishes or capacity for the period of orientation.
Host families will be given to volunteers in their communities.
They shall provide food; do washing, and other services at a cost which is spelt out under cost.
+ ORIENTATION: We provide in-service training to volunteers to enable them function better in their communities, this will spelt out how to enter the community, the culture and way of life of the people expectations, problems and identification or potentials and above all working in deprive areas.
All these in one or two weeks.
+ PROGRAM: This is the social aspect of the organization.
We cater for orphanages and street children, we also teach in deprive communities, besides or side these, volunteers can serve in other fields such as the health sector, other Ngo and agro base industries, especially when schools are on vacations.
This will intern to keep volunteers to engage in their mission in the country.
Furthermore, volunteers can also stretch out their hands to other departments where their services will be needed. Volunteers will serve in their areas for the period of 1 to 3 months, 3 to 6 months and above, depending on their visa duration. In the communities, volunteers are expected to live with the people, experience the people, and their entire social being.
Teaching and learning material shall be provided where readily.
At the end of their work, volunteers are expected to give or write a report of activities to the organization to enable us tackle the problems these deprive people need, The field officer shall visit volunteers regularly and offer help to them and also supervise their work in the respective communities.
This program intends to provide technical and infrastructure and educational facilities and other needs of the communities such as good drinking water through fundraising activities and collaboration of other Ngo donation from benevolent societies and people who share the vision of progress.
