Subject: Preview of Upcoming Mystique Appearance

Even though we are sure that Mystique will appear in this year's House of M miniseries, Mystique still has some spare time to plot on the X-Men's assassinations at her hand... or something else entirely?
It's the latter, that's for sure. Mystique will actually be joining the X-Men this June. I am unsure whether or not I am happy about this. On one hand, she will appear in the comic books more (hopefully), but on the other hand, she's now a hero, working for her enemies. Yuck. She won't ever had done that in the past. It goes against her entire life. *Sigh*. She was actually a type of hero in her own series for a bit, but that was because she was- at first- blackmailed by Xavier to work for him. But now-- she's willingly going to help the team and work with them. Maybe it's just for a little bit, and she's just doing it for information on some mutant for a future plan of hers, or maybe she'll try and get Rogue and/or Nightcrawler to come back to her again, as she has tried for so long to do (but sadly always fails). We all know this villain-turning-into-a-hero thing didn't work out well with Juggernaut...

Besides Mystique becoming somewhat of a hero, possibly, something else worries me. Peter Milligan, the "X-Men" writer, said, in the interview link listed above, that Rogue is Mystique's daughter-in-law, and we all know that is untrue. I hope he just meant foster daughter, 'cuase we, the readers, don't need another mistake in Mystique's history. I hope he doesn't refer to Rogue has the daughter-in-law, because that will ruin the whole series for me-- this stupid little mistake-- and it is untrue, messing up Mystique's history EVEN MORE (which we DON'T need right now), and we wouldn't be able to know which is the true history between the two characters. Only time'll tell, I guess.
