Can you believe it took that long to finally settle everything apartment wise?(well almost, there's still the tv buying and the closing of my old apartment lease to do). But sadly, now that the whirlwind of apartment events is done, exam consciousness has come back to sit in its place. How nice eh? There's less than a month until the next ones, and unfortunately I think that in the short span of my one year here, I've gotten my head used to the concept of putting exams after exams after school with no holidays. YUCK pfft. So now I'm back to not being able to do anything other than trying to procrastinate(and feeling guilty about it) and studying. Yay for this wonderful country huh.
PS: that also meant buying harry potter 7 asap and reading it overnight(it took me so long to finish, 4hours, FOUR WHOLE HOURS...but worth it hehe), just to get that procrastination item out of the way. It was AMAZING(my favorite along with 1 and 4).

WHERE IS MY MOVER???? I need to move the rest of my stuff into the new place already, it's really unsettling to be 'a cheval sur deux endroits' comme ca la, urgh (to be in between 2places like this, sorry sometimes when I think thoughts just appear in the other language...it happens more often when I switch systems like this past year). Although the new place won't have my landline/internet installed 'til later, but I'll see whether I can do some wireless neighbouring there :P hehe
Over the past week, in between paperwork and moving, I've managed to crank up my tv addiction 10notches, seriously, I've watched *at least* 1 drama series a day(mostly japanese too, they've been pretty entertaining lately), plus some random asian music videos. I think I'm missing Singapore's food, and my family too probably...maybe =]
I'm also now officially one week behind my studying schedule; according to it I should be starting on the next volumes for each of the august subjects already, but all I've done is 4 pages over 7 days, great huh? Plus now my friend is coming down to visit me from up north, which means, I've gotta double or triple up on my already late readings. Pffft, what's with exams anyways.

Almost 3months...That's how bad exams are here. I did take a weekend holiday sometime in may though, all of us were going to go crazy and kill each other, so we headed to amsterdam for a short trip, with museums, ''croqiettes'' from self service restaurants(it's basically food distributors where you slot in your money, and open the door for some food), a TON of walking, a pirates of the carribbean walk at madame tussaud's that threatened to make us all pull each other to the floor from 'fear' and surprise haha.
But other than those two refreshing days, it was just studying, procrastinating and more studying at home for exams. I swear at one point we couldn't even remember when we'd started them, and when they'd be ending either, that's pretty sad isn't it?
So many exams, that during of them I was so distracted that I labeled two vaginas on the diagram(instead of one plus a urether heh) for one and created my own chemical pH formula for another(the prof wasn't very impressed with me, neither was I actually, but then again not having slept a wink at all the night before...PFFT hehe); during another one a girl was nicely publicly embarassed when the teachers announced that she was to sit lower in the auditorium due to fear of heights; then once during exams the professor was going around checking student numbers, and somehow walked into the wall and almost made a whole in it(it was made of many many metal boards, so you can imagine the sound it made :P);then there were rumors of the oral exam where the prof told the student to go to the blackboard, draw a circle and told him ''that is your mark''.
~
I just came back from moving my stuff into the new apartment(my friend was supposed to come with his car at 21h-22h-ish, but came at 23h++ instead...ah well, at least he came, and it was a HUUUUGE car, one of those RAM2500 dodge-looking cars, I'm surprised we were even able to drive around these little european cobble stone streets haha), and so my train of thought from previously is completely cut off.
I'm in between exams right now(I know, we haven't had any holidays since post-post-christmas-exams in january), which is why I've been trying to find a new place so urgently. I COMPLETELY wasted my first week post-finals looking for an apartment, since here it's not a very student-friendly place housing wise, most apartments are those in the dated european houses, and almost none will give you a 1year lease(why did it seem so much easier back in Toronto?? bay street, there's a gazillion apartment complexes there, I should import that street).
So basically, after 3months of exams non stop, 1.5weeks of apartment hunting(and 3days of lease signing, ikea furnishing and transferring apartments) I'm thinking of spending this sunday relaxing in my new BALCONY heheh...and catching up on some studying =S I'm already behind, I had only planned a week of apartment stuff.
