The world's strongest love potion. It will smell differently to each person, according to what attracts them. Noticeable by it's mother of pearl sheen, and it's steam, which rises in spirals. |
| Babbling Beverage |
Makes the drinker speak nonsense. |
| Baruffio's Brain Elixir |
Said to boost brain power. Used mostly by students preparing for their O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S., it is sold on the black-market. |
| Blood Replenishing Potion |
Will give the drinker more blood. Used in St. Mungo's, and other wizarding hospitals. |
| Boil-curing Potion |
Obviously, cures boil. Contains crushed snake fangs, dried nettles, stewed horned slugs, and porcupine quills. |
| Confusing Concoction |
Makes the drinker being confused and disoriented. |
| Deflating Draught |
Antidote to the Swelling Solution. It reduces the size of an object that has been inflated. |
| Dittany |
An herb that, when mixed with water and sugar or honey, creates a potion used for healing. May also prevent scares from appearing after an injury. |
| Draught of the Living Dead |
Extremely powerful sleeping potion (rumored to have been used on Briar Rose, otherwise known as Sleeping Beauty). It contains powdered root of asphodel and infusion of wormwood. |
| Draught of Peace |
A stress reducing potion, it is often used to sooth anxiety or agitation. If mixed incorrectly it can turn into something quite like the Draught of the Living Dead. |
| Elixir of Life |
Produced by the Philosopher's Stone, it will make the drinker immortal, as long as they continue to drink it throughtout their life. |
| Felix Felicis |
Gives the drinker good luck, until it wears off. Taken in excess it will cause giddiness, recklessness, and dangerous overconfidence. It is a golden color, and will splash about in it's cauldron without spilling. |
| Forgetfulness Potion |
Used much like a Memory Charm, it is used to make they drinker forget things. |
| Hair Raising Potion |
Makes the drinker's hair stand on end. |
| Invigoration Draught |
Stimulates the drinker. |
| Love Potion |
The most common potion known to muggles, will make the drinker fall in love. Once the potion wears off the "love" will no longer exist, unless it was there in the first place. |
| Mandrake Restorative Draught |
Used on those who have been petrified, it is made of mature mandrakes. |
| Pepperup Potion |
Used to perk up a person with the flu, although side effects often include smoke emitting from the drinker's ears for several hours. |
| Photo Developing Potion |
The potion used to develop photographs so that they move. This is the main difference between muggle photos and wizarding photos. |
| Polyjuice Potion |
This complex potion will transform the drinker into another person. Taking around one month to brew, this potion contains powdered Bicorn horn, shredded Boomslang skin, fluxweed that was picked during the full moon, knotgrass,lace-wing flies (stewed for 21 days), leeches, and a bit of whomever one wishes to transform into. NOT FOR USE IN ANIMAL TRANSFORMATIONS! |

Makes things smaller. It contains caterpillar, daisy roots, leech juice, rat spleen, and skinned Abyssinian Shrivelfig. |
| Sleekeazy's Hair Potion |
Used to calm wild hair. |
| Sleeping Draught |
Will make the drinker fall asleep. A much milder version of the Draught of Living Death. |
| Strengthening Solution |
Will make objects stronger. Takes many days to brew. |
| Swelling Solution |
Makes objects swell in size. |
| Veritaserum |
Makes the drinker tell the truth. It is practically undetectable, and very powerful. |
| Wit Sharpening Potion |
Makes the drinker more intellectual. Contains armiadillo bile, chopped ginger roots, and ground scarab beetles. |
| Wolfsbane Potion |
Used as a temporary cure to a werewolf bite. Instead of becoming a wolf, the drinker will transform into a typical wolf, and can wait safely until the full moon passes. It must be taken every month to have continued results. |
