The Bible Says It's Wrong
A little story by MistyEyes

At the moment, there is a heated debate going on throughout the country. It is the same debate that's been going on for years, but now there are new aspects to the argument. The whole debate of whether homosexuality is moral or not has resurfaced into the media spotlight as same-sex marriage is being demanded and protested.

Now, it seems that, in this heated battle, there seems to be one statement that is constantly being thrown around by the Christians. Seeing how Christians make up about 80% of the country's population, it's pretty hard to ignore their stance, especially those fundamentalists. You know who they are. Those people that stand outside the gay support and community centers with signs that say "God hates fags." Now, in their so-called debate, this stance is always present. God hates gay people. The bible says so. It's in there...trust me.

Yeah right! One thing I've learned is never to trust a fundie. Those greedy, spotlight-hungry nuts always have the ability to twist the bible to fit their own purposes. Never trust anyone who thinks they know God's will.

So, what are we going to do? It just so happens, I have in my hand a genuine bible(no my hands have not burnt off yet). I stole this baby from bible studies class when I was just a little bastard. For those who want to know, it is "The Holy Bible: Old and New testaments in the Authorized King James Version" Circa 1980...So, in other words, this here bible was written before the powers that be decided to rewrite it, or as they called it, make it easier for people to understand. So some of the bias that has been written into the bible in the past two decades is not in here. I say some because any bible in English is biased, no matter how old it is. To get the so-called truth, you have to understand Greek and Hebrew.

So, here we go. I have located the very passages which speak about the abomination of gay-lovin'. I'm just here to tell you what it says, and what the verses around it say, and maybe you could listen to my interpretation. You can make your own as well. Call it a game of deductive reasoning.

Leviticus 18:22-Leviticus 20:13
Is it stated clearly that God hates gay-lovin',
or is it just another prohibition placed on the "heathens"?
