Before you ask, no this is not a page dedicated to that ridiculous band called "The Darkness." This is called The Darkest Light for one purpose that has nothing to do with a shallow attempt at music, but rather because of many possible theories of the creation of the universe. This is not a biblical site, as you might associate biblical sites. There are many references to the Christian/Catholic bible here, but this is not another addition to the cyber-religion.

In the beginning, there was darkness. If you are Christian or not, this is pretty much the premise that most believe. The Chinese believe the universe was this big black egg, carrying Pan Gu, who would later hatch and separate heaven and earth. The Hindu believe that the universe was the very shape of nothingness and darkness, until the Divine One placed his seed into the waters, creating the sun. In Christianity, there was darkness, until God brought forth light, dividing the light and darkness.

In science, it’s not much different. There was one mass of matter before an explosion sent it all out into the universe, the difference with science, besides having proof and all, is that darkness still reigns. Out there, beyond the milky way galaxy, there is matter which cannot be explained. SOMETHING is out there, pushing the matter around, forcing the creation of galaxies, stars, and other matter.

Is it darkness? Is it God bringing light to other galaxies? Darkness…light…which is it? How about The Darkest Light?
