March 1, 1993, the first 3-D game for the Super Nintendo system was revealed, it was dubbed, Star Fox, as it followed the story of a rag-tag team of mercinaries who tried to save the Lylat System from the evil Andross. 14 years later, there are 5 games released, a series fo comics released from Nintendo Power, plenty of Fan Fiction, and a legacy.
But no film to really commemerate this series. Only shorts that have no promise in them. We are going to change that. A person from the Nintendo NSider Forums and his friend are starting a fan film that will change everything.

"For those who wanted a Star Fox movie, Gameboyfreak and I are planning on making one. I will be the producer while GBfreak will direct. We are currently outlining the script, so feel free to list some stuff you would like to see and anything else you'd like to comment on. It will be based on the Star Fox/Star Fox 64 plotline I believe (unless there are any changes) and will have a very low budget, if none at all. We are also looking for animators, so if you are one, you can help out. Voice actors will be cast later on. Any questions or concerns? Feel free to post.
Now, you may think this all sounds good and be like "ZOMG! I wanna write! I wanna draw!" But the thing is, this isn't just fun and games, we a seriously making a high quality movie. And for now, we are working on the script, so positions such as concept artist are not needed at this point, atlthough you can apply.
I was once involved in a Star Fox movie myself made by a person named Nick Yudichak. He made me a co-producer and I was promoting the movie in various websites including her. However, this was a year ago, and as time went on, he didn't get a script together, a voice actor dropped out, and he pretty much wasted $2500 on a movie that was never gonna be. I am sad this happened, but I am trying to revive the idea. I am not giving up, I am not wasting money, I am making sure this will work, and spend as low money as possible in making a high quality movie."
