We Are:
Flamenco musicians and dancers making a weekly performance-meeting. This is a chance where all those appasionate folks in flamenco can enjoy-participate or just maybe watch how a cultural reference is kept so alive outside of the place where it was born... from Andalucia, to Edinburgh.
Group of "aficionados" to flamenco music who are living at Edinburgh, Scotland. We perform and rehers weekly at different places all around Edinburgh mainly, but also we have done some other performances in Glasgow and other cities and towns of Scotland. We are a dancer, a guitarist and a singer (cantaor), but depending of the environment or kind of event we would increase our team with other members whom have a very close contact with our project, and as well, they are a very important part of us. They are drummers, "palmeros" (clappers), other guitarists, "jaleadores"... sometimes fluetist, saxofonist...
The dancer (Tote) and the singer (Danielo) started in September 05 in company of different guitarists. Alex "el Nino de Sheffield", Jorge, Ivan, Alberto are some of our magic flamenco guitar hands. Xavi, Andres o nuestro Patxi, are our magic kings. Between all of us, we are like a family. some other members began to join us, creating the propper flamenco-latina atmosphere. The history about how everything began and how developed itself, its very interesting.
We would really like to invite all of those amantes of flamenco for enjoying with us and participate.
