Gaining Hits

Sometimes it can be hard to get hits and attract new visitors. Here is some of my advice that I've seen in my own website.

1. Have a nice layout and some interesting/useful content. Try to make it something you think is fun to browse.
   
   
2. You should have more then just videogame information, because often there are other sites that have much more.
   
   
3. Don't give up hope! The longer your site is around the more people will hear about it.
   
   
4. Advertise is forms and in sayboxes. But I'm not telling you to spam or break rules that will only make people get annoyed.
   
   
5. Make goals for yourself other then hits, because sometimes you can get discouraged. Have a goal to make fun interactive content or contests.
   
   
6. If you chat and make friends with your visitors they will feel welcomed, and they are more likely to come back to talk to you.
   
   
7. Be kind and helpful; don't blow up at noobs or immature people.
