Anime vs. Manga
In this section you can see the differences between the main characters in the anime and manga. One basic difference with the series themselves is that the manga is much shorter. It only has four volumes, and shows Ash's journey through Kanto and the Orange Islands. The anime, on the other hand, continues to get new episodes to this day. So far Ash has completed the Kanto League, the Orange Islands, the Johto League, and he is nearing the end of the Hoen League. Who knows how long the anime will continue?
