February 2008
February 1 - I'm pissed off with myself for not updating anymore. Lately I've been apathetic to everything, so it's not just updating - which, come to think of it, isn't that great. It's called laziness, my friends; something I have been experiencing a lot of. I'll try to go through a make some graphics, but I haven't made any since Heath Ledger's tragic and depressing death, so I can't make any promises. I've also had a streak of silliness and hope to make a few captions or a chapter of the TTT Parody, but again - no promises.One thing I did manage to do was re-arrange the home page, as you can see. I didn't like that it was so long, so I've shortened it. There's only one update now instead of three. I made rollover images of the Toplists I've joined and the Middle-earth Webring I'm apart of (image map, if you didn't get that).
Sadly, that's all I have to offer. Another mad lib will be coming soon, I think. I've been learning javascript in my web design class, so I know how to do it well now.For some weird reason my co.nr domain isn't working. I believe evil is afoot! I shall try to figure out what the problem is, but until then - BAH! - I guess you can use the freewebs ones. Unless it works for you! Then use the domain. Buh-bye!

January 18 - Nothing much, but I wanted to update just to let you know I didn't die.Site
- I finally got my own domain name!! It's not a .com or anything that special. I can't afford that, but I've used co.nr before from some of my charity sites and it's extremely nice. Don't have to type as much in the links, etc. I would really appreciate everyone changing their links to http://theelfstone.co.nr

December 26 - I really don't have much to add today, but I'm bored and felt like updating. I think I'll go pop in my billion and one DVDs I got for Christmas. Seriously, that's almost all I got. I'm wearing the rest of my presents currently. It was overall a great holiday, since I got everything I asked for (I'm not spoiled
) and my families rock and I love them - they are hilarious. I had so much fun with them; the last two days have been heaven on earth. I'm so grateful for Christmas. Praise baby Jesus!

- 3 new avatars. I normally wouldn't have put any up, but today I was really bored and I went into some screencaps and picked a scene. Today's theme is Gandalf and Saruman. I don't particularly like the way the palantir one came out. I had an animated one of it that looked cool in my head, but when I attempted it, it just sucked. Sorry I can't show you, but I'm ashamed.
- 3 new banners, which comes as a big surprise to everyone, I'm sure. I haven't bothered with these for quite awhile. I just hope I'm still a good graphics maker. I like the way the Moria one came out, but the others...Ugh, I can't tell anymore.

I'm just so tired of trying to find a place to host me . I think I'm just about to give up on it all. I'm sorry to all my affies and visitors that have to put up with that ugly-ass thing, but it's not my fault *point at host*.
December 23 - Have a great Christmas everyone, and other happy holidays! Spend it with friends and family if you can. And if you have to work on Christmas Eve, I'm sympathize with you. D=

- I'm seriously considering leaving Freewebs because of this Freebar issue. I have managed to make it look somewhat presentable at the bottom of the page, but now the site just doesn't look professional anymore. I'm sick of having to deal with all these Freewebs ad issues. They keep changing their minds on everything and it's just irritating. I found a nice-looking free hosting site called Freespace. I'm checking it out, so stay tuned for movement. I'm just angry because I've been a Freewebs user since April of 2005, and I don't want to move. Thanks for understanding, guys.
December 21 - I had to work today for five hours after taking two finals, and I have to do it again tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next day. Yes, I have to work on Christmas Eve. D= It's unfair and cruel. Imma stab myself in the eye and sue them for it before they make me work on Christmas - it shant be done!

- I added two new riddles to the Riddle section. I made them all by myself, with my intelligent brain. I think they're pretty good. Well, see what you think, don't just sit here reading this! Go!
- NEWS! Good, splendid, GREAT news! Peter Jackson agreed to be the executive producer of The Hobbit movie, which will be released in 2010. They still haven't written a screenplay, but every freaking Lord of the Rings fan out there is just going to drop their jaw when the know this. It'll be craze all over again (well, at least I'm hoping).

December 10 - 'Tis almost Christmas yet I still lack of updates. I don't know how many times I can apologize before it gets annoying, so I'll stop now. Let me tell you, it's been so crazy recently. My sister-in-law just gave birth to my first nephew, and I just decided today that I'm going to go out to North Carolina this weekend to see them. Finals are next week, and I have three projects due before then which I'm extremely stressed out about because they're all worth 150 points or more. Christmas is coming up and between now and then I have to find the time to shop for Christmas presents. My best friend's birthday is on Wednesday and I still haven't gotten her a present or talked to her mom about her party. I've been taking off of work too much lately, so they've asked me to come in every day but Tuesday (on which day I have my church youth group to attend and have to visit my old middle school to get something from a teacher - don't ask). Then I'm staying home alone for the week, and I'll have to get someone to give me a ride to and from work. Then my sister is coming in on Saturday. So if you don't hear from me until after Christmas, you'll understand why. My life's a mess.
I only have an iFrame tutorial to add to the mix today. I was going to go make some avatars just to have something to update with, but I'm so incredibly tired and it's almost 2:00am and I have school tomorrow. The iced coffee I drank at 6:00 is the only thing sustaining me right now. So again, I'm sorry, but hopefully the Christmas break will give me some time to wind down and actually doing something. November 26 - I'm terribly sorry for the extremely long absence. It's been so hectic! I also have to apologize that I have no updates for you, hence the sad face. I'll be getting to a few new things soon, but obviously not right now. I did finally get 'May It Be' for the song section thanks muchly to Lady of the Dunedain. Thankies! ^_^ But that's pretty much it. Sorry! I'll get back to you when life cranks down a few notches. Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving!November 1 - I was surprised to suddenly realize how little recreational time being employed and enrolled has left me. Nothing new to report, I'm afraid. I'm pretty upset because I can't find anywhere where I can get "May It Be". I never got the Fellowship soundtrack so I have no way of getting it onto my computer. My song section is not complete without it, which bugs me. Anyways, I just started reading Weapons and Warefare so I might have a few things to add to the weapons section next update. Ah, I almost forgot about the cool diction words. If you look at lands, you'll see some underlined words in brown like links. If you hover over them they will tell you what the word or phrase means/is. Nifty, huh?Visitor
Has anyone even attempted to play the Fellowship Game? I'm disappointed, because I thought that would be a real crowd-pleaser. *sigh* Game of the Month is not going over so well. I'll wait for another month and if no one else participates, the prize will go to the person who has participated the most. Thinking about adding an iframe tutorial, so look for that. If I don't add it next update, shout at me. And lordy, I need some new humor. This place is starting to get seriously boring. October 23 - Just really quick, I got a new guestbook from Smart Guestbook, and it is just fancy! Go check it out (same link as previous gb had). I added everyone from before, but if you want to sign it again *hinthint, nudgenudge*October 22 - I'm mostly updating to let you all know I'm not going to be updating as often as usual because I just got a job at a pizzeria and it's very time-consuming. In other words, it's taking over my life ;) Annnyways, the site won the Most Beautiful Site award at Fair Lady of Rohan, thank you so much! The only thing is, the lightbox isn't working (the cool effect the awards and blends had on them to pop-up without actually popping up). I don't know what's wrong, because everything was working previous to me adding the latest award. I'll have to be fixing that soon. Other than that, I fixed the basic html tutorial and the about pages. Don't have time for graphics lately =( but I did throw all the ugly avatars into the oven, mwhaha...I'm working too much. Hopefully you'll hear from me soon (and please comment, I wanna know who's still alive)! P.S. I'll get ya'll a Halloween present if I can. I'm going to FrightFest at Six Flags for the first time ever! Woo - wish me luck!
October 16 - So I've been thinking of ways to get more people to come, so I set up a game and I'm thinking about setting up more if I can think of more. It's called The Fellowship Game, and its on the games page, obviously. It's like a Guess Who or Mystery Person type of thing. I hope you enjoy playing it. Winners who get them all will get a prize =) Other than that, really nothing new to report except that I've added the new feature of shortening the updates so they don't take up the entire page. All you have to do is click the 'read more' and the rest will come into view. Let me know what you think of it and the game. I'm desperate to hear from people, so comment people, comment!
October 14 - YAY! I finally bribed someone into helping me figure out the music problem, and now we have a new section: Songs. I think everyone will be very pleased with it. It does kick ass. I have the lyrics of each song (and if it is Elvish, the translated version as well) and the actual song from the soundtrack on the page. It should begin automatically, so you won't have to touch anything, but you are free to adjust the volumn, whose tab is to the left of the play button. You can pause/play it also. There's a handy dandy menu so you won't be all confused on a long page. Other than those two things, I haven't got much, but we do have one new caption contest entry! Thank you very, very much Lady of the Shield-Arm! Any other takers? I saw a website with a site map and I was like "Woah, what a good idea." So I've decided to add one. And I did. It's over on the site over there under the navigation and right above "Elfstone". I thought it was pretty cool and useful since the site is so big. Let me know if it is useful. =) And last but not least, six new icons have been made.
October 12 - It took me forever and a day, but I finally finished The Two Towers script. Enjoy it because I don't know how much more I can take of scripts. Return of the King is gonna have to wait a looonng time cuz I'm just not ready to go through that again. Anyways, I've been thinking about putting in a new section, but I need some major help figuring out how to work the madness that is mp3 and music on webpages. I've been playing around with XSPF Web Music Player, but it won't work and I'm really not good when it comes to music stuff. Does anyone know how to work them/can help me figure out what to do? I'd really, greatly appreciate any help anyone can give me! [edit] I took out all the links in the updates archive, because everytime I went in there they just...uglied up the page. In the doing of that, I found an banner I forgot to add to the banners page, so I added that. I'm also in the process of weeding out all the bad icons from the good ones and figuring out a gallery arrangement for them. Hopefully sooner rather than later is when you'll see that done. October 7 - It took me three hours, but I finally re-organized the entire information section. They are a lot more attractive now, and hopefully it'll draw more people to them, because before they were just plain hard to read. There was too much going on and no difference to show where something starting and ended. It's better now, trust me. I love my info section, so I wanted to make it prettiful. ;) Next order of business, I added the three awards from Forgotten Whispers to the awards page, but EE hasn't gotten hers made yet, so I'll wait like a patient person. Then there's the whole deal with the past layouts page, which looked really...weird. I organized that a bit better. I thought you all might be bored of the poll by now, so there's a new one--enjoy the greatness that is picture polls. Other than that, fixed a few links on the affies page and I'll be getting some more graphics in soon, hopefully.
October 4 - Big update. At least I think it is. I rearranged the entire banners pop-up so that I have it well organized now, sorted into new, old and dedicated banners. It's different, but it allows me to add banners without having to only make them on request, which admittedly was not

September 28 - So the domain came back to bit me in the butt. I had it running for about two days and now it doesn't work anymore. Sorry for the confusion, but it wasn't my fault. I transfered everything from Truly Intrepid onto a subdomain of this site, so it's all connected and easier for you and me to use. Nothing else new to report, except for the fact that I decided I didn't like the new sparkly name. Too flashy, so I'm going back to old, boring one. And that I put new forms up, so they actually work now. I guess I filled up my freewebs form quota. Also, if you wanna check out the awards page and the art page, you might find a cool surprise. ;DSeptember 22 - Hey peoples of the web! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while, but school has been eating me alive. In a literal and non-literal sense. I got a new domain name, theelfstone.webs.com, so if anyone has freewebs.com/theelfstone on your links, I'd appreciate you changing it. I think both work, but I like the newer one better. I was gonna get a .com domain, but ya know, those cost money, and I'm cheap ;) Other that than, nothing really to report expect my failing attempts to get free domains. Oh, expect I put a alternative name up there for my name. It's sparkly. It's different. I dunno if I like it yet.
September 3 - No one played Augusts' game of the month, so I've changed it and hopefully some of you will play. Especially the three competitors who should have played The Counter Game regardless! *evil eye* So now I've set up a new game that has to do with trivia. I made it easy, don't worry. Before I got to that, I made two new tutorials.
One is for making pop-up windows and the other is for finding/downloading/saving fonts. Please take a look at them and let me know if they're helpful in any way. I'm thinking about a new poll, but I'm not sure. Not many people have voted on this one. I think a new madlib would be nice too, don't you? If anyone but Haldir noticed, I set up a little javascript on the graphics page after The Agreement. Well, I thought it was cooler than having a boring old link. I also fixed the banners and signatures pop-ups, because they had too much scroll in them - and the disclaimer as well. Sending out another Labor Day gift to all my wonderful affiliates. 'Tis on the right. I changed the welcome a bit and added my signature to the top of the page. Um...I was bored ;) Mix it up! August 26 - Woo! I FINALLY have a new layout up. Sorry for the really lame 'under construction' page for those few hours, but my PSP wouldn't cooperate with me. Anyways, I haven't gotten the new layout up on the layouts page yet, but I will soon. If you find any problems with the layout, please e-mail me ASAP so I can fix them. Also, if you want to let me know if you like/dislike it, send me a note, too. Thanks everyone! We had a major power outage in my town for the last three days, so that's why I didn't have it up earlier. I actually made the layout at the library, haha. ;)
August 19 - All right. I've finally gotten up all the awards The Elfstone won over the summer. Before I forget, I nominated at Evenstar Ember Awards again, too. The site awards -- 2 best graphic, 1 best webmaster, 1 best content, 1 best old site. The personal awards -- 2 (banner, icon) 1st place, 1 (blend challenge) 2nd place. Thank you shout out to Frodofan, Jon, LotRCoolPirateGirl, Jewel and Telpeath! Next order of business, Caty has entered a Truly Intrepid contest and I am so grateful for that, because I was actually going to close it down today. Thanks Caty, you're amazing! She's also now a competitor because she found a smiley. Speaking of which, Round 2 of Games has now been updated and I've made plaques for those who competed in last the last round. Lastly, I made four new icons and I took off the banner claims. I'll be making a new page where I'll put all non-dedication banners. I thought you should all know that currently I'm flooded with work, because I'm re-creating a website for pay at the moment. School starts on Tuesday, so that's going to flood me as well. I'm saying this because it might take me awhile to update next. At least I'm letting you know ahead of time, right? I'm truly sorry and I wish I could do more.
August 15 - I know, I know. I'm so incredibly bad with updates. Lately, I've been more into my Harry Potter craze, so I haven't been updating here much...or at all. I truly am sorry! Well we have a new affiliate, Haldir of Lorien, which is a beautiful site and you should really check it out! Also, Steff has moved her portfolio to a different address. I keep telling myself I need a new layout, but it's really hard to part with this one! 'Tis my favorite and I really can't get myself back into making good graphics. So I'll try. We'll see how it goes. ;] I have more updates, just not this second. I promise soon though!

June 8 - All right, added about three animations and three captions to the humor page. And a bit more added to the FotR Parody. But that is definitely not the biggest thing I did though. Okay, so I finished a complete elvish and rohirric verse of pronunciation for the speech of Middle-earth. You can view it on the information page. It comes complete with sound clips which I recorded myself. I am very proud of it. It took me forever. I hope it's helpful to everyone! Also, we have a new affiliate, Lady of the Shield-Arm. Please visit her site, it's great! We have a new competitor for the games and Truly Intrepid also has two new entries! Thank you so much Lady of the Shield-Arm! For now, that's all.[EDIT: Um, I did forget a few things the other day, partly because I was so excited about putting up the new languages section. So, I finished the FotR parody, FINALLY. Trust me, it's better this way. I'm working on some banners, but since no one cares about claiming any, the claims round is over and I am now going to have to have another page with un-dedicated banners. June 3 - I have much to tell ye! First, I've made a new poll and past poll results for the occupations poll has been added. The poll is asking how you got into LotR. I made a new crossword puzzle having to do with the locations of Middle-earth. The key is, you have to unscramble the word hints in order to find the actual place, and then you can fill it in the crossword. The humor page has took a beating this time around. I organized the animations so that they're not taking up the entire page. And yesterday, I was watching RotK and I found that one part where Aragorn and Legolas are in Rohan talking about Sauron and I had this great idea for a caption, but it turns out that when I went to a gallery to go fetch the picture, so many others just bombarded me and I spent literally and hour and a half picking out pictures to captionize. Hope you're not disappointed at them. Right now I only have 12 added (some captions, some animations), because my PSP has an error and closed suddenly and I lost all the pictures. I am just hoping that I can find all the ones I made captions for soon. I have about 6 more and most of them are animations. [EDIT: they have been added]
As you can see above, I added LotR Newstand, which leads you to the new News page which is featured on the Information page. I edited the webmiss page slightly (the future list and my age). I gave up on the awards since no one seems to care enough to vote or nominate. I will miss it. I'm in the process of making the Detholalle Award. I got just enough votes - the bare minimum - to even consider continuing with the award. A huge thanks to Nahid, Frodofan, Elvawen and Anira for voting! Okay, there is a dire need for caption contest entries. I have not gotten a single one. Also, I'm gonna have to close Truly Intrepid if there continues to be no entries. I haven't gotten one since November =(. I really like that site, so I don't wanna have to close it. Please enter! I gave a Legolas desktop to Nahid @ Fair of Face. I changed the bullets on the 'You Know You're Obsessed When...' page. I organized some of the pages and corrected a few misspellings. TE would really appreciate some votes at Middle-earth Top 100 (you can vote below). Maybe being on the top 10 will help get more visitors? I almost forgot to mention, the counter reached 3,000! I'm going to add a few games to the visitor page ASAP, one will include something to do with the counter - so look out for those! And LASTLY, I've added a quote list to the visitor page where you can add LotR movie quotes. Well, that's it for now. I'll see what I can do about those humor caps and the award! May 18 - Not much to report this time 'round, but I am working on several layouts in which I hope to be able to create a good layout that is comparable to the current layout. I doubt this is possible because this is by far my favorite layout I have ever made, but I will try! Also, we have two new affiliates, Forgotten Whispers and Evenstar Dreams. Please give them a warm welcome, they are both lovely sites. I would very much suggest a visit! I ordered Lord of the Rings: Weapons and Warfare online and received it recently and I will begin reading it shortly. Other than that exciting news, I'm afraid I have nothing further to present at the moment. My dearest apologies for being so non-update-ive, but my life is circulated around final exams and my mom's surgery issues, so please excuse my absence. I will update asap with actual update-ness. =)April 2007
April 27 - Eeek! We won FOUR awards at Forgotten Whisper Awards! How cool is that? Best Graphics, Most Devoted Webmaster *blush*, Best Info and Best Old Site. Look a' that. The Elfstone is old. Oh my God. I'm old. Haha, kidding. So you can find the awards on the awards page, obviously. IF Photobucket would ever decide to work! Anyway, I made 13 new TTT-oriented icons. Have a look-see! They're different from my usual ones. Tell me which is your favorite :) Also, I gave/received several amazing birthday gifts, one from Tan and one from Alassė. Thanks you both so much! We also have one new affiliate, Fool of a Took. It's a great site, check it out!April 10 - Okay, so I have no explanation for my deprivation other than school and inactivity. I'm sorry, but no one's been doing anything and it's really not giving me any incentive to keep on with updates. Honestly, guys. I put up so much stuff for everyone to do: polls, quizzes, puzzles, mad libs, awards, contests. It is so incredibly sad that the LotR craze is so dead! I won five awards sort of recently which I've added to the awards won page. There would be three for best layout, two for best graphics. Kind of disappointed I never get best info =( That's what takes me the longest, haha. We also have a wonderful new affiliate, Fair of Face. Please check it out! It's a beautiful tribute to Legolas. March 26 - Hey! I'm..back? Now that it's been almost a month! Sorry! Anyway, I made a new blend featured around Aragorn, but it's not boring and says something like "king aragorn" or "ranger". Check it out, it says "Arathorn's Son". I honestly don't think that man gets enough credit for all he did. I mean, he made the king, but does he ever get mentioned but once or twice in Aragorn's name during all three movies? Yeah. That bugs me. Also, The Elfstone won two awards: Best Layout and Best Graphics. They were from two different awards sites, Enchanted Lothlorien and Evenstar Embers. EL's download didn't work for me so I'm attempting to get it again via e-mail and EE doesn't have their awards posted yet, so you won't see any change on the awards page if you were planning on looking. Sorry. I nominated at Aragorn Crown Awards, which is FRODOFAN's award site and the blend that I mentioned earlier is going into her blend challenge. We've only gotten three votes since the last update, so we really, really need more! And no nominations for march yet? And no entries to the caption contest? :( I'm so bored, people! Please enlighten me! One more thing--I deleted one blinkie, re-did one, and added three.March 9 - First of all I'd just like to say, hey! How's everyone been? I've been sick as a dog for the past week and I'm still not over it. I stayed home from school for three days. For this reason, you are getting alotta updates =) All right - down to business. I made one new siggie, banner and icon, and that can be seen on the signature page. I made a new banner for the claims and I also made previews for all the banners, so you can see 'em before you pick 'em (just a little convenience for ya). I judged the A'maelamin and Elear awards, congratulations Envin and Alassė! We're still in major need of votes so I made a little banner thing nominees can put on their site!

I hope it never takes me that long again - phew! Anyways, the reason it took me so long was because I was figuring out how to ZIP files. After I downloaded/installed this program and did a trial run it was midnight. So there's a new premade layout is up and available for preview and download. I did a bunch of minor spelling/link/image edits on the following pages: banner tutorial, terms of use, webmiss and humor. Other than those things, it's been pretty quite around. I'm canceling school tomorrow - so what if it was already canceled? Maybe I'll get some progress on the weapons page...?

February 26 - I know I haven't been actively participating with anything in my site, so I really can't blame anyone else for not doing so either. I just really haven't seen all that much activity around and about. The banner claims are still up there but no one's claiming. Only three people (God bless 'em) entered the caption contest. I've had some promises from actually two or three people saying they'd enter some contests at Truly Intrepid but so far I've only gotten one entry - pretty sad. It's the end of the month, so you know what that means! And if you don't, it means that the awards are closing in, count them, 2 days. Be sure to nominate if you haven't already. You'll have lost your chance if you don't get the form to me someway somehow by midnight March 1st (just because that sounds all cool and spy-worthy). If you sent me a form of any kind within the last thirteen days, it didn't get to my inbox and you'll need to e-mail me the information. Apparently my forms are going screwy so we'll just have to see whats going on with them and I'll figure it out if there is something wrong. Other than the little rant above, I added the B's to the Elvish Name Appendix, Pale Springs nominated for the awards and we have a new affiliate, Enchanted Lothlorien!February 13 - Through LotE, because I was strolling across Alassė's affies page, I clicked on a new site that turned out to be the descendant of CoG, an old affie of mine. I found out Envin had made another site because the old had been hacked. So, we're re-aff'ing. He also nominated for all three awards and is now up. Thank you very much! Valentine's Day is coming up, so I thought to make a gift for all my affies. It's not great, but it's the thought that counts, right? =) It was a snow day so I finally had time to do that. Wish I could say I did a whole bunch of stuff, but...I haven't. There isn't much new on the site, but I'm working on various things that should be up and running soon.

February 3 - I made two new animated humor icons and I won two graphic awards [1st place avatar, 3rd place banner] from Flame of the West, thanks! I majorly edited the webmaster page and added a few things like the site name and a table for my sites, etc. We have two new affies, welcome Jewel and Telpeath! Merugrin has entered the caption contest, thank you very much! It took me a really long time, but I finally got it done. The tutorial for basic HTML coding is now up on the tutorials page. Pretty much the basics for webpages, just like it says (hehe). I'm still working on the weapons page and the premade layout is still not finished yet, but it will be...soon!

January 26 - It took me awhile to change around the home page just that little bit. I put the 'posted by' stuff in the table on top of the updates and changed the spacing down by the guestbook pic. I'm finally finished with the parts of the parody I needed to finish! I got the Council of Elrond, Moria and Lothlorien all finished and up on the page. I'm currently working hard on the weapons page and on the premade layouts page. I've decided to trash both the layouts that I made before for different reasons (one being that I spelled 'navigation' wrong the the Galadriel one...wow). I'm making a new one as I'm typing this so hopefully that won't take too long. What else did I do? Oh! On the parody page, I added little 'back to top' links, just because its soooo long. I thought that would help. Umm..I think that's it. Although I discovered that at M-eTop100 that we went all the way back to #88...which is astounding to me--so maybe no one voted for the site after all and it was just a glitch. Oh well. And I'm still in need of banner claimers and caption entrants and awards nominations! =DJanuary 24 - This is a ginormous update, just so you know. I added two new rules and codes to the awards page. Weeded out the pre-made layouts page, sigs, icons, art and blinkies (took out the old/boring/ugly ones). Won two awards, best layout and judge's choice, from Something Magical, thank you Tamara! Edited the splash page by adding some requirements. Unfortunately, I can't trust IE with this layout. We have one new affiliate, LotR The Legend Comes to Life, who also nominated for the A'maelamin Award. Lothlorien of the Elves is now nominated as well and Alassė is the first to nominated for the Elear Award. I edited the affiliates and nomination pages excessively and I finally got to the point where I just left it as is. I think they look fine now. I also nominated at, like, four awards sites. I joined the Middle-earth webring and that is at the bottom of the home page. I was looking at the previous layouts page and I completely forgot about a layout! So 1.1 description and a picture of the header graphic, not a screen-preview (because I don't have one), was added--and I also added all the enter signs to the end of the layout descriptions on the previous layouts page, because I sort of forgot about them. I marked up some html on the quizzes and other random pages because some links weren't exactly working and some misspellings were rightened, which isn't a word, on various other pages. I added a link to the Pants Game page because I found a site, Lord of the Pants, that is actually all about that game--pretty cool. I'm just itching for more entries to the caption contest, guys! I'd really, really appreciate any form of creative humor you have in your brain at the moment! (edit: thanks for the entry Alassė!) I also have to ask you all if you are able to see the background image of the main page. I was told that the image came out as an X. I've looked at it from several different browsers/computers/internet hosts, but I'm able to see it. If you can't see it, please comment below and let me know. Thanks! January 21 - Changed a few things. I accidentally deleted the wallpapers I used as jigsaws in the puzzle section. They'll still come in on the puzzles, but the thumbs are gone. I replaced them with text. I made a new desktop, Aragorn-and-paths-of-the-dead-themed. I finally found some time to finish the A's in the Elvish Name Appendix! I've also decided to make a kind of nomination section for sites to win awards monthly. A'maelamin and Elear Awards - A'maelamin is similar to a Site of the Month. Whichever site wins it, I will display a link to them for a month on the home or enter page. I haven't quite figured that out yet. Elear is for 'best webmaster', so if you apply for that, it's like a Webmaster of the Month, so please nominate! I'm making a serious effort to start up the weapons page. I can't say I'm almost done, because I'm not. But hopefully soon. Please keep up activity! I saw we were 88th on Middle-earth's Top 100 only a few days ago and now we're 15th! =o Thanks for the votes!
January 16 - Not quite so big an update as yesterday, but I do need to tell you all that I've added three more banners to the claim and I entered two Flame of the West, recently affiliated with Truly Intrepid, contests last night. Add effects (click me?) and avatar (care the see?). The latter I've added to the avatar page, but I'm not sure if I'm going to add the banner to the claim or not. We'll see... I also forgot to add the Contests/Challenge page to the Visitor section. Sorry, but it's back up now. And we really do need more entries, for the caption and Truly Intrepid needs some, too! Also some major editing on the humor page, plus I made five new humor captions. Enjoy! EDIT: Two banners have been claimed and they are now on the banners page. January 15 - I am sorry that I didn't get to the New Years gift. I've been very busy lately, especially with school and midterms. I re-organized the Humor page and decided to put up the code at the bottom of the page for Middle-earth Top 100 again in order to get more activity for the site (I think we're #87 at the moment). Alassė and I were talking about how many LotR fansites have just disappeared in the last few years. It's really sad and I don't want that to happen to The Elfstone, so please, please, keep the activity going! I put up banner claims on the graphics page. If you would like to claim one of those three banners I have up now, click the 'request' link and it will send you to a page with a form. Fill out the form and then where is says 'description', put the number of the banner you want to claim in the box. When I get it, I'll know which one you want. It is first come, first serve, so if I recieve more than one request for one of the banners, the person whose form was sent first will get it. I will e-mail the person whose form came in last and tell you. I will be adding banners to the claim for awhile, so you still have a chance later on. Thanks and I hope to get some people claiming! P.S. I'm almost finished with the counsel of elrond and leaving of the fellowship for the FotR Parody, so when I'm done with those two sections, I will add them and the mines of moria and lothlorien as well.

December 22 - Happy Holidays all! Just dropped in to say we have a new layout - woohoo! - in spirit of Christmas, which might I add is coming up in about three days! I'm sorry for not having many updates lately - estoy muy ocupado. I spent two days working on this layout so please don't expect too much from me =) I have some difficulties with the links, which are the wrong color/style and I need to fix that when I can. Also, I didn't have time to make a Merry Christmas gift for my affies - I'm so sorry everyone! I will try to get a New Years one up here ASAP. November 25 - Apologies all for not updating in so long. First order of business: I organized the updates archive so that you can click the link to the month/year you want to look at and it takes you right there, and it's also on a pop-up window now. I'm pretty sure I've said that I nominated at Plains of Rohan Awards, but I wasn't too sure about that. Also, I've won two awards (Best General Site and Most Informative Site) at Forgotten Whispers Awards - thanks so much! I re-organized the challenge page, but there still haven't been any entries. I re-vamped my personal portfolio, Truly Intrepid into a challenge site, so if you want more challenges, go there for them. We definitely need more entries! I made two new riddles on the Middle-earth info page and one new avatar for Meg! Freewebs has been having a few problems and sending links to different pages lately, so if you encounter any of that, just re-direct to the main page and try again. If that doesn't work, we'll just have to see how it goes with my host and if this continues - eek! Oh and Happy Thanksgiving!November 2 - So, I was inspired by the ever-amusing pair of Hobbits, Merry and Pippin, for some artistic stuff, so take a look at my art page and you'll see what I'm talking about. October 27 - We have a new poll up today (Middle-earth occupations), so go vote! Also added past poll results to the bottom of the page. I remade all the examples for the effects tutorials which took quite a while, I'm not gonna lie. I made 12 new codes and erased all the old ones except my favorite transparent ones. So, anyone who was hotlinking - end of the line. Anyway, I edited the webmiss and disclaimer pages. I also gave thumbnails on the gift page because the images were too big for the iframe. And we have our first entry for the caption contest! Thank you Enedlhach! I won't put any of the captions down for people to see until I've chosen a winner, that way there's no cheating. :) That's all for today!October 26 - First and foremost, I added the new layout to the past layouts page. I organized the names on both bio pages, made a new submit form for the fan section, created two new challenges, add effects and caption (I hope we get some entries!), edited and added one new section to the FotR Parody and created a new written page on the Humor page - the Pants Game. Anyone who used to excessively go on the Arwen-Undomiel tagboard will know what I'm talking about and I was a loser and wrote a bunch of them down and made up a bunch of new ones. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, there's an explaination on the page of what it is and how you play.
October 21 - All right, we're finally OFF hiatus, but still on semi-hiatus, sorry guys. I made a new layout, as you can probably tell. I haven't made a version 7 layout review yet on the Past Layouts page, but I will soon! Over the past few weeks I've made 24 avies. I also nominated at Forgotten Whispers Awards and Falling For Somebody Awards. On the new enter page, if you haven't noticed, there are links on Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn and Boromir to my different sites. May 21 - I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to updating lately. The truth is we haven't seen very much activity around here. The good news is that we've won an award from November Rain for best graphics. We also won awards for best layout and best all-around site at Broken Dream, but Nycla hasn't made us awards. That's okay. But other that that, we have three new entres in the challenge department. One blend by Sapphire, one blend and one icon by Tanthoronial. They're all beautiful! I deleted the site banners on the link back page because no one ever uses them. I deleted the winner's archive. It was up way more than a week so anyone who didn't get their award, I'm sorry. I added one siggy from a contest I entered it in. I also changed around the nomination and affies pages a bit. They just look a little different. And the counter reached 1600 today, w00t!May 9 - Yay! We have updates--I am alive! Okay, so I've been doing stuff, just I haven't said anything about that stuff yet. So, I have made aboouuuut 5 new avies and 5 new humor captions. Also, I added a bunch to the poetry part of the fan section. I found yet another brush/texture site so I added Classic Tere Art to the credits page for using a few misc things. Freewebs put this new 'freewebs toolbar' up and frankly, I hate it. Me and 425 other freewebs members, so they got rid of it. I replaced the hit counter on the front page with a new one that doesn't have adds. Alright, well that's it for now.

April 22 - I've been involved with other things that take up most of my time, sorry for lack of updates. Anyway, I made 7 new avies and one new signature set that I also won an award for at A-U forum, which is now on the awards page. We still have no recieved ANY challenge entries or fan section submissions, which is pretty depressing. I really appreciate everyone's participation to the site, but recently, no one has been doing much. Maybe I need to advertise the site a little more.April 21 - Well, I don't have much time to lay it out for you, so here it goes. The quick version of the updates...I added a picture to the Tolkien page, I deleted a puzzle because it was expired, I redid the entire fan section and plopped it onto this same website (Got something? Please submit it, we could really use the additions!), I completely re-vamped the entire challenge page and created four new challenges, I will delete the winners archive in one week (So if you have an award in there and forgot to get it out and save it to your own server, please do it soon!), I deleted the Site Suggestions page because no one was lookin' at it and the 'I-must-have-a-LotR-website' craze has really died down (If you need website help, just e-mail me. I'd be happy to help), and I changed the About Me page to Webmiss on the site page and added nominations as well. Woah. *Wipes sweat off forehead* Hope to see more entries to the challenges and some fan section submissions. April 20 - It's been busy. Sorry. It was my birthday on Tuesday and I had, you know, stuff going on. Today was my self defense class and I whooped some serious butt. Just thought you all should know. Hehe. But I've been doing a bunch lately. We have one new affie, Just Like Dreams! Envin gave me a beautiful gift and I won a blend challenge at Citadel of Guard (Envin's site). I created a poetry page which can be found on the info page under Middle-earth and an art page (art and blends made by me) which can be found on the graphics page. But you may be wondering, when you go to the graphics page, "Where the heck is it?" Well, I put up a little agreement thingy. It's really easy, just put your name in the blank spot and click I Agree. Then you'll find it. Of course, read the agreement first! It explains it on there pretty well. Quickies: New challenges will be up soon since no one seems to want to enter the current ones. Sorry to the contestants who entered, but I'm going to have to close them down. Also, I just realized the quizzes from Quizilla aren't working. Please let me know if that's just my computer, but I might had to make them over again. Eek.
April 14 - Wow! My appologies for the lack of updates, everyone. April has been very busy for me. There have been a lot of birthdays and parties and commitments I've had to attend so I couldn't really find any time to update. I have also been very reluctant to step away from writing, because when I do I tend to forget about my book for awhile. Then it will never get finished. I hope you understand. To the updates. I recieved three graphic awards from Arwen-Undomiel forum (two 1st and one 2nd) and one award from Above All Shadows (3rd). I made three new sig/avie sets because someone e-mailed me and asked if they could use one of my sig sets. I was so excited because I knew people were still visiting the site! I also fixed the disclaimer because it was messed up. I added comment boxes with HaloScan, so you can comment on any of my updates. You know how it works. Updated the About Me page. There is a new poll up, so go vote on your favorite place in Middle-earth! No new challenge entries, sadly. Not even on the mystery pic. I still need many more entries to consider closing the challenges. And I realized today that I haven't made a banner for over three months, I believe. No one bothers to request any. It's kind of depressing. I recieved an Easter gift from Jenn today which is displayed on the gifts page. Thank you! And a happy Easter weekend to everyone!

March 30 - Just a quick little update: I made eight new static avatars. Check them out! Also, new updates on Peculiar Obsessions...{link}. EDIT: Just added 4 new cast avatars.March 26 - Today I made a really neat blend {view} and a desktop {view} of Cate Blanchett. They were both entered into contests on Evenstar. I won an honor there for an avatar of Arwen I entered, too. I also made a banner {view} for a contest at The Dwarven Lords. Despite what you may think, I have been doing things around the site. I added...um...three avatars the other day and we have a new entry to the blend challenge. I also added a BUNCH of stuff to Peculiar Obsessions (with some pretty cool avatars, if I do say so myself). I've been making some banners so maybe there will be a claim soon, but no one even requests anything anymore. I'm kind of getting the feeling that I've lost my touch. Or maybe--getting worse? I hope that's not it.
I've been working on a live journal recently. I've been setting it up and I think it looks pretty good, but I don't really understand all of it. I won't put it up until I know for sure I'm going to update it a lot.
March 16 - I've made a sign/view guestbook image and re-arranged the homepage. I set up our sister sites at the bottom of the page. Please check them out! And the looped music kinda got annoying after awhile, so it just shuts off after the first time.
March 13 - Well today we recieved two awards from Women of Power Awards. (Thanks so much!) I also nominated at Rangers of Wilderness Awards. And before I go I would like to tell you that Mithrim Lake Awards is off of hiatus! If you have a site, I would be honored if you went to visit. Today is just full of awards stuff, isn't it? Just wanted to let you know I added "May It Be" from FotR to the homepage. It's just a section of it looped, but hopefully you'll like it!
March 12 - We have our first entry for the blend challenge! Also, I see a lot of people have guessed for the mystery picture, good, good! I made it a bit harder this time. Not everyone has gotten it yet, it's a tricky one!
I am still in the process of working on the weapons page, but I don't want to put anything up yet. I will when it's completely finished. I've been working on Mithrim Lake Awards. March 3 - Today I added two new avatars, one new riddle, round 2 of the blend challenge is judged and awards are up! There is a new blend challenge taking it's place. The theme this round is the three hunters.

February 21 - I finally completed the Tolkien biography. Pretty short and to the point, like most of my bios. I also am planning on adding a riddles section to the Middle-earth info, or maybe to the 'You' page. I haven't decided yet. But they will be original and some of Tolkien's.
February 20 - We have 5 new entries to the blend challenge today! Pretty soon we shall start the judging and awards are on their way for the mystery pic. Coming soon!

January 10 - Sorry for the lack of updates everyone! I have been a bit preoccupied from all my sites. But I would like to thank Evenstar Awards, Middle-earth, and the A-U forum for three new personal awards. A blend challenge (3rd), a writing contest (1st) and a mystery picture award! I also recieved one for Mithrim Lake Awards and two for Hogwarts, a present at Pheonix Tear Awards! Thanks so much everyone!

December 24 - Merry Christmas everyone! I added a gifts page for all the beautiful gifts I recieve from my affiliates. You can also see that I give gifts as well, so all the gifts I give are there too. :) I added a few checkbox new window things for graphics and things better seen outside of iframes.December 22 - Today I made a Free Layout's page where you can request and preview layouts that I've made. They are for your use, so please take a look! Also I added the pages weapons and tolkien to the information page, but they are still under construction. No one seems to request any graphics from me :( Anyone?
December 16 - Finally the Elvish Name Appendix is up, but it is not even remotely finished. I only have half the A-names, so bare with me while I add on to it. Also, we won an award from The White Lady Awards for most devoted site. Thank you!
December 15 - Oh, so sorry about the wait! 3 new banners are up and claims has ended! YAY! I haven't done much because I've been busy reading Eragon, but I'll have something for you soon.

December 4 - Gave awards to everyone who guessed correctly on the mystery pic. It was Eowyn. New picture is up, start guessing again! Nominated at three sites, codes are up on there. Updated the fan section and awards site.
December 3 - Oh yes, I have been sneaky. I came up with this layout ALL on my own! I got the iFrames AND the image maping to work all by myself! Woo hoo! Oh yeah, if you need to get out of the iFrame, right click the link or picture and go to 'Open In New Window'. Later On: I made 8 new banners for claims! Only have about 3 more to go!

November 30 - Two New Sister Sites! YAY! But--No more caption contest entries, huh? Well, I guess I can't really force it upon you. They are hard to think of. Mystery pic awards will be judged soon. I hope we have enough! My HP fansite, Hogwarts, at present is now finished! I have all the info and some graphics up. The link is at the bottom. Hope you enjoy it (if you're a HP fan, of course). November 12 - Ahhh! The counter hit 800! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy!! We won an award from Broken Dream Awards for the best new site! :) I'm not updating very much anymore, which I am ashamed of. I have a lot going on so I think I'm gonna have to go on hiatus, but not right now. Maybe, though, in near future.
November 8 - Wow, sorry to keep you all waiting. I have been a fair bit busy this week, as well as last. I have, however, managed to scrape up a few things. I've added 7 new banners for claims, enjoy! I am currently judging the avatar contest, so keep your pants on while the winners will be made out--hopefully our new caption contest will sprout more entries than the last...?
November 3 - I hope everyone had a spooky halloween! I've made 4 new banners for claims! The Elfstone recieved the Humor Award from Evenstar Awards today!! I'm very proud. October 28 - Sorry I haven't been updating very much. We have a new affiliate, Broken Dream Awards, and I nominated there as well. I will have some banners up soon. If I do not update until after, Happy Halloween!!October 23 - Okay so I got 4 new banners. Made 3 new sigs. Added some more to the FotR parody, just a bit (it's marked 'NEW'). They'll be more up soon. I have quite a bit down already, just not in the right order.
October 19 - I'm so sorry for the lack of updates! Do not fear, I have made up for it. SEVEN new banners are up for the claims! Yippy! Round 3 of the mystery pic contest has ended, pick up your award if you guessed Arwen! Round 4 is now up and we really do need more entries for the avatar challenge! I renominated at Vanya Nu, finally and I'd really appretiate sommore nominations at Mithrim Lake! I re-did the WHOLE fan section layout (just need to fix up some forms)!! I have finished (FINALLY!!) Half the FotR Parody! I put it up anyways, even though it's not finished. WARNING: It is very long.
October 9 - We won an award from Vanya Nu!! Yay! I am planning on renominating there soon. Sorry for the lack of 'important' updates. I've been working really hard on my book and school works been a drag. Lots of family stuff going on as well. It'll come around sooner or later :)
October 7 - I made 5 new banners for the claims today!! I had to install PSP on my other computer so I have to transfer, and transfer back. It will take awhile, sorry again.
October 1 - I have gotten so many people to claim my banners, but there is one problem. After finishing only two of them, my computer got a virus and the fonts on PSP are all messed up! I can't do any more banners unless they don't have text on them--appoligies! I rearranged all the media pages so you'll no longer have to press the back button at the top of your screen to get back to the previous page ;) I had some complaints about that. Also orginized the banners page and made a new page of my older banners.

September 24 - Imagecave.com stopped hosting my images!! AHHH! I had to re-do all the tutorials and all humor on those pages! Photobucket made my humor images smaller, so sorry if they're hard to read. I had some ideas for the info page, if you hadn't already seen them. I am in the prosess of making an Elvish name appendix. Everyone just tells you what your name is in Elvish. But I want to tell you what your name means! Also, I re-orginized the affies and nom/list/review pages, so that now they can fit into pop-up windows on the splash page! Yay! I edited lots of stuff like spelling, grammar and other stuff on the lands of M-e page.(Keep claiming banners, please!)September 21 - Sorry I was so angry yesterday. We got one more entry to the mystery pic contest, so I decided to end the round. The awards are on the winners archive. There is a new round and a much easier picture up, please guess! Also, got rid of those old gross blank buttons and got some new ones in there for you!
September 20 - Recap: We've had no new entries to the mystery pic contest and we definately need more, no one ever requests any graphics, EVER, and no one ever submits anything into the fan section! I just don't know what to do! I need more action, or TE might plummit down into nothing-ness (and I don't want that to happen!). I decided because no one will request anything that I will make a BANNER CLAIMS--and add a New Contest (avatar challenge). Check the pages for more details.
September 15 - Today I have a few updates. I closed the fan fiction contest and extended the mystery pic one. I really would like people to guess! I added a new quiz

September 9 - I know that I said I'd be out for a week, but I found this was the only time I would be able to update for awhile. Well now, lets see...I added two humor captions, 5 avatars, there's a new poll up, fixed some link errors on the credits and affies pages, AND I won a humor award at A-U forum! Some GREAT news: The Lands of Middle-earth is now finished! Please check it all out!

September 4 - We have a new affiliate! The Crownless Again Shall Be King, and nominated at another awards site, Vanya Nu Awards. They are both added to the pages that they belong :) Also added/updated a ton to the fan section!
September 2 - Surprise!! New layout! I really needed a new one because people were complaining about the links and how they were set up. I thought it was annoying, too, and I really wanted a Strider-themed layout.

August 30 - I added Of the Sky to the credits page for the purely brilliant and most-helpful textures! Thanks to her we now have two new wallpapers, FINALLY! I nominated at Mithlond Awards as well. I really, really need some fan fic entries/mystery pic guesses! I'm in serious need, otherwise I will have to cancel the contests. August 21 - Hey I made these really cute site grahpics...Aren't they just so cute?! Well, I added them around the site, AND I made a new quiz!! It's called Which one of Galadriel's gifts are you? Take it! It's fun!
August 20 - My apologies to Thenidiel, for I forgot to add her site to my affies page. She was a long-time affiliate of TE, but her button was not on the affies page. Her site is A Light on the Water. Please take a look at it! It's a lovely site.
August 19 - I added a banner/avatar/icon request form to both the avatar and banner pages. I don't have an icons page as of now, but when I do, it will go up there. There are no rules to request. The only thing I ask is that you only request one graphic. I can't handle too much right now. I decided to go back to the old cbox. It's easier that way. The the page was making this weird clicking sound and it was annoying. On the 'What fellowship member are you' quiz, I made little graphics to go along with it, so that if you want to put the results on your site, you can have a picture too! Added two new blinkies. New affie: Realm of Gondor!
August 18 - School is coming up soon! I start on Tuesday, so I won't be updating as much. I will have a ton of homework! Anyways, I made 2 sigs, 5 avatars and a whole blends page. Still working on that 'locations' page so it should be done soon. It will feature Lothlorien, Rivendell, Rohan, Gondor, Mordor, the Shire, and lots lots more! I organized the updates page so that it's more, well, organized--lol.
Hits to the site are very rare. If there is anything that could help me with more traffic to the site, I would be grateful if you would post it on the new tagboard at the side of the page, below Thanks to. Thank you for your suggestions!

August 15 - I'm back from my vacation. We got two new awards from FFS, the contests are all finished and I've put up the awards on the winners archive page. Two new contests are up: Mystery Picture and Fan Fiction Contest. We also have a new awards site! Mithrim Lake Awards will be up and running soon, but for now, I'm quite busy with school coming up and all. I'm currently making a 'locations of Middle-earth' page so hopefully *holds breath* it'll be up soon! We also have a new affie! Arwen-Undomiel.
August 3 -I haven't updated in a few days, but I have been doing stuff. I made one new banner, we got a new affie (Glimmer), I reviewed her site and some other stuff like spelling mistakes, and I entered a bunch of contests and things. I won't be here from Thursday until next Monday so it'll be a break for me. I'm going on vacation.

July 30 -Freewebs wasn't working on my computer last week so I couldn't get on to say I'd be gone for a week. Anyways, I'm back. We won 3 awards for the site at Ithil Ross!! Woo Hoo! Also, I changed a humor pic. I had a typo. I added a sig set, changed both bios pages so it's easier to access. Click on the names at the top and it takes you right to the person you want. We have TWO new affie: Falling For Somebody and The Silver Tint! Merethlin is up and running and it's beautiful! Please take a look. Caption contest is almost over! We only have a few entries, please post a caption!
July 22 -Another affie added: Crystal Serenity. I made a new set of buttons and 7 dedicated banners as well. I've been thinking about an awards site, but I'm not sure I'll get to it very soon. I re-arranged some of the homepage and added a little Contact section so if you need to e-mail me, you can. The poetry contest is closed, though I got an entry for the caption contest! I will keep it up for another week so if anyone else would like to join, please do so! We have a surprise coming up, but the secret wont be out for a little while longer ;)
July 21 -Wow. I only just realized I spelled fantasy in the welcome paragraph wrong. Sorry, I'm slow. We have a new entry to the poetry contest, though I believe we have no entries for the caption contest. I'm sorry, but I think I am going to close it. Instead of two different contests, I will always have a guess who/mystery pic contest, for I see that is easier than a caption contest. We have yet another affiliate, though I am not to put up a link until the site is finished. It is a beautiful tribute to Luthien and Beren. I love how the site has turned out--wonderful! As soon as I get permission to put up a link, I surely will.
July 20 -New blinkies! Check 'em out. I'm going to be leaving on Saturday for camp, so there won't be any updates for a week.
July 19 -We have a new affiliate today! Citadel of Guard is a really nice site! Please take the time to visit it. I changed the side pannel over there to Top Affiliates, and that is where I will put all my first affiliates. I am currently adding CoD up there as well. One new contest entry. I will start judging soon so get your poem in while you still can!
July 18 -I made six new link back buttons and made the enter sign on the splash page fade (I've been trying to do that forever)! And a new contest entery from Arien Elensar. I nominated at 3 different awards sites (listed at the bottom of the page) and I re-nominated at Starlit Seas Awards. I'm not really sure if Everlasting Hope Awards is even still running. It doesn't look like it, because I nominated there almost three months ago and they still haven't added me to their nominees list. I was thinking about dropping my peculiar-obsessions site. I have a lot to do and it's just not getting any bigger. Sorry! Because I have this site and my fan section site to run, it's just not going to be able to be updated as much.
July 17 -Made a whole new website so that all the fan fiction can fit. Please take a look at it. I also added a new entry to the Poetry Contest! As well as all that, I rearranged the humor page, again. I know I do that alot, I just thought that it looked kinda weird. Anyway, I'm working on re-writing the scripts of LotR to make them more humorous, that's what the LotR Rewrite is. It isn't nearly finished, but I thought I'd put it up there just because. I hope to get the contests done fairly soon, but it all depends on how many other people would like to join. I need at least 5, yet we only have 4. I'm awaiting several people's entries that said they would enter. We'll see how it goes. I'm adding some banners right now and I will hopefully get some more blinkies by the end of the day.
July 16 -We have one new entry to the poetry contest, by Elenya. I made eight new avatars and a new poem by me in the fan poetry section. Please, if you have any poems of your own about LotR, I would love for you to submit them into the poetry section.
July 10 -I'm back from my week off! Alright, I added 6 or 7 banners, working on some avatars--but they're not up yet. I also am trying to change the Affiliates to Top Affies so that if I get any more affiliates, I'll just put them on the affies page and won't have to change every page. I made a layout for a friend, Evenstar the other day for her new site. It will replace her older site that she doesn't really work on anymore, one of my affiliates, MyLotRSite. Now I have to change that around too. I have a lot of work to do.
July 2 - I fixed the guestbook today! Yay! Now you can sign to your heart's content. Anyways, I also fixed the site suggestions page, changed the colors on the current poll, and we're doing something with Peculiar-Obsessions. I am going to make a layout for it, then we will get some progress. I'm just going to add a ton of stuff. I am taking a week off for vacation so I won't be updating any of that time. Sorry, but nothing else is getting done 'til I get back. Have a happy 4th of July!

June 30 - I changed the FAQs page, added a credits page, made 15 new banners and checked spelling/grammer mistakes and fixed broken links. Also, I added forms to the poetry contest and the affie page. I had one heck of a day trying to figure out all those forms and then I finally just got it at mycontactforms.com.
June 27 -The whole layout is on everypage. Please make sure you tell me if I missed a page. New counters up. I had to put up a new one because the other one wasn't working right. So now it works right. Anyways, I'm planning on making a bunch of avatars today or tomorrow, but I still have to finished putting the banners onto the banner page. They wont be in any order anymore. It'll just be all in one. Hope you don't mind. I could maybe have it so that there are three catigories (characters, locations, events, etc.), but I'm not sure yet.
June 26 -Suprise!!! New layout! I only have it done on a few main pages, so if you get to a link and then it changes to the old layout, well, it's because I'm not done. We have that new 'enter page' now, so just click the picture of aragorn and you get here ;)
June 25 -Today I added a new page: puzzles. There are currently four puzzles to choose from, but they are only the wallpapers. Sorry, but I don't have time to make other ones, right now. Good News: we got TWO new affiliates! Middle-earth and Dreams of the Fourth Age. They are both amazing sites! I urge you to check them out. I changed the affie buttons back to their own. They were lookin kind of weird and fuzzy. Anyways, I also got some new humor, and I orginized the humor page. Now you don't have to look through it all, you just click on the thumbnails of the humor pics and you go to that single one.
June 24 -I made a new quiz today! Who's your middle-earth dream guy. I've been making banners left and right. I have about 10 more, I just haven't put them up yet. We'd really appreciate your votes at Middle-earth's Top 100 and Tinuviel Top 10!
June 23 -Today I put about 15 new banners up in the banners section! I am planning on making a new quiz, some jigsaw puzzles and other fun stuff. I asked the site Middle-earth to be affiliates and hopfully I will get an answer back soon, and from Dreams of the Fourth Age, too.
June 20 -I've been working on putting up a new layout, but I'm not sure if I have the time or talent to do that. Either I have to get a pre-made one, or I need to keep this one up until I can make my own. Please go here and vote on what color scheme it should be! I made a new page, the combos page. It has avie/banner combos for signatures on forums and such. If you have any ideas for the site please make sure you use the tagboard (no longer at the bottom of the page). I've gotten suggestions to have the tagboard more 'accessable' because some people don't know that it's a link to a pop-up. Next layout I will be sure to put it on the side. :) I also re-wrote the FAQs, the About Me page and the intro paragraph at the top of this page so that they are all up to date. Added the disclaimer at the bottom of the page, as well.
June 15 -I changed many spelling and grammer mistakes, added the wallpapers page with 4 new wallpapers! I entered some contests at Middle-earth, like the poetry and fan art contests. I'm trying to figure out something with avatars and something else with banners, so before I make any more I'd like to know the answers. I'm getting on it.
June 13 -I did a ton today. I made 5 new avatars, about 6 new banners, I applied at Dreams of the Fourth Age to become an affiliate, and organized the fan blends so that you just have to click on the thumbnail to view the full image.
June 8 -I finished judging the blend challenge entries and I made the awards as well. They are on the winner's archive page. Please check and see if you've won! I made two new contests, poetry and caption. That's all for today. I made 5 new avatars and 2 new banners.
June 7 -I have closed the blend challenge for judging. The awards will be posted a.s.a.p! Thank you to all of those who entered! They were all beautiful. June 5 -I added a new section to the banners page. Now we have a ton of different banners to choose from. The only bad thing is, if it is bad at all, I wiped my slate clean. Now there are no banners at all because I'm not going to make any unless someone requests it or claims it. I will have a banner claim, but not for awhile. Also, I've been working on the wallpapers. I have one arwen, two aragorn and three alias ones, which I most likely won't put on this site but on peculiar obsessions. Hopefully it'll be soon! Another thing I've done over the last few days, I was working on matching affiliate buttons. I have them now, they're at the bottom of the page. One bad thing: I haven't seen my name on Everlasting Hope Awards nominees list yet. Perhaps my form didn't go through! I will keep looking. May 31 -I made two new banners, some more wallpaper, but it's not up yet, so you'll just have to wait until it is. Sorry for the delay! I also got a new affie! Hip Hip Horay! The site is Simple Dreams. It's a lovely site. You should visit it. I made a new website! It's called Peculiar Obsessions. It is still in deep construction of all Star Wars, Alias, Avalon, Vartan and Mortensen pages. It hopefully won't take me too long. I have a ton of Michael Vartan wallpaper, so I'm trying my best to get it up. I'll update soon.
May 30 - I'm going to have shorter update things, because I see that I'm getting pretty filled up here. I made the guess who contest posting and changed it to fizbox. I entered the Middle-earth caption contest, too. I'm starting to make lots of wallpaper so soon it'll be up in the graphics page.
May 22 - Sorry for lack of updates in the last few days. I haven't been doing nothing, though. I made a form for the guess who contest so that it actually works. I also added 12 new avatars and 1 new banner to those pages. I'm going to get up a request form so that you can request banners. I have 2 new entries to the blend challenge, as well. I decided I'm going to make an extra side of this site. It kind of sounds weird, but it will be with all different things. One of them will be Alias, another Star Wars, etc. I am unsure when that will happen, but I'll be working on it. This layout is getting annoying, because it won't let me do forms. I have to change it, but I won't change it until I know how to make layouts. I am getting to that as well! Things have been getting kind of hecktic around, so I'll be taking a short break from the web. Not too long, just enough to study for my constitution test that will be coming up. Hope you understand. Perhaps you may have noticed most of the old updates are gone. I realized that whenever I update I usually take up a large amount of space on this home page, so I decided to move the old updates to their own page. You can find them on the site page.
May 15th - I just noticed that my counter counts every person that comes on every page. That's why the number is so high. I am trying to fix it right now. I've been working on another quiz for the fun page. I thought it would be cool to have a Who's your Middle-earth Boyfriend? Sorry guys, but I don't think you'd be interested. I am working on some new avatars, so check back soon and see if they're done. Anyways, on Tinuviel Top 10, I'm number 36, and on Middle-earth Top 100 I'm number 25! I was amazed. Keep the votes coming! Also, we need some more entries for the Guess Who contest and for the Blend Challenge. It doesn't have to be excellent, you just have to make it. I need at least two more before I start judging, and as for the Guess Who contest, well, I need at least five. Please guess!
May 13th - Well, from my long break, I have come back to my work. Now, I just added the site to Middle-earth Top 100 and Tinuviel Top 10. I know, those are very, very big sites, but I just want to see if I have any chance, whatsoever. Please vote for us there! It would be so great! Thank you.
May 2nd - I know I said I wouldn't come on today. Well, I lied. I did everything else I 'm supposed to! I finished the help page which now has tutorials (banners and effects) and website suggestions! I also finished the links/credits page! Yes, I said they were going to be done on the 30th, but I like to get things done. Now that they're done, I'm going to make a new contest: Guess Who. I've been wanting to do that forever, so now I am. It'll be up, oh, I'm not really sure. I'm going to nominate at some places, too, to try and get some awards. If you know of any LotR awards sites, please e-mail them to me! I hope I do. I've been working really, really hard over the past week to get this site up and running and I finally have. May 1st - Today I did a ton of stuff! I got all the info on the information page done (including scripts, bios for characters and actors, maps and race-description), on the you page, I added 8 signs, but the help page is still under construction. Hopefully it'll be done by the 30th. I have another challenger for the blend challenge. Tanthoronial entered. Now we have a total of 2 entries. All fan pages are up (including poetry, graphics, art and fiction). If you want any of your fan things to be on this site, please feel free to e-mail them to me. There is a guestbook now, and you can sign it if you go to the site page, or view current entries already made. In case you're wondering and if you have already signed the guesbook I had before, this is the same one, so look for your name, or you'll be posting twice! Links and Credits are going to be done by the 3rd. Please forgive me for that. I'm trying my best! :) Next order of business, I will be nominating at an LotR awards site as soon as I have all my pages done. If I don't that would be a waste of time because no one would give me an award for an un-finished site. Well, thats all for now. April 30th - The site page is completely up except for the nominations page because I haven't nominated anywhere yet. I mean, I will later, when I get most of the pages done. I added to the fun page, so there is now quizzes and a polls page. I added to the humor page also, the two writen things at the top are done and there are two new captions. To the graphics page I added the buttons page! It had both blank buttons that you can use for your own site, and my Fellowship Collection. Tinn's entry was submited to the blend challenge so we now have one entry. Keep them coming!
April 29th - I've been working like a monster trying to get up all these pages! Hum has been set up, finally! Fun has only quizzes as of now. Site hopefully will be done soon as well. I did all of the Graphics page except for buttons. I don't have any yet! April 28th - Today the site opened under a new host! I've been looking into Freewebs for a long time now and I've decided to just go for it. I'm not good at making layouts so I remembered a really awesome site I went to and it made layouts! Arwen Evenstar is an excellent site and is now providing me with this wonderfully beautiful layout. Thank you so much! The Elfstone used to be under a different host, but Bravenet has adds at the top of the pages and I thought those were a little annoying, not saying that Bravenet isn't good, just I think Freewebs will be better for me. I'm looking for affies so if anyone wants to affiliate with me, please e-mail me. I have tons more to do to get this site up and running to for now, I'll do the best I can!
