04/25/10 - Additional Mechanic Alterations; Game Starting in Two Weeks!
MP Cost for all Techniques lowered considerably, Defensive Stance now adds a SprMod bonus, Rule on "Buffs" added (General #10), Stance learn time reduced to one week, "Trip" technique adjusted, "Tremors" spell adjusted, "Cover" technique added, clarified "Specialized Moves", altered ability to learn "Specialized Moves" with Generals (from specific to any General for Intermediate level spell), Health of the 'Mitee' adjusted, many typos corrected, limitation on "Upgrading Spells" imposed (Defining Spells #2), adjustment in spell category level-up bonuses (Defining Spells #4), and adjustment in "Debuff" spells and resisting their effects (See Battle Rules).
In addition, all interested players should begin browsing the site and register on the forum. The game will officially start in two weeks, so it's a good idea to have your character mostly developed by that point. The information now on the website should not be adjusted too much further before we begin, and anyone who creates a character in the next two weeks is free to change that character without penalty until we officially begin.

04/21/10 - Mechanic and System Alterations Pt2
Added random encounters equation. Rules will be updated to reflect that, when traveling, players may encounter hostile beasts. The chance of encountering and the strength of creatures will depend on the current "travel condition" as detailed in the Weekly Kronicler and may differ between areas. A template has been created that allows the staff to quickly create specific types of creatures. Creature's overall strength is based on the PCs involved in the fight. Directional combat is an idea we're considering adding; attacking an opponent's flank would provide an accuracy bonus. Missions and Quests are currently being written. Battle System still receiving updates to increase usability, but all damage functions currently work and include stances and race. Still hoping to code all moves, but it's not necessary to start the game. We're hoping to achieve lift-off soon. Stay tuned.

04/07/10 - Mechanic Changes and System Updates
"Evasive Stance" now lowers DexMod instead of StrMod, Defensive Stance now allows Perfect Hits, Sniper Stance altered to still allow misses, Battle Map now houses one Character per grid space, Physical attacks only work against proximal targets, Range of Spells changed to reflect number of spaces movable, "Training" changed to "Adventure" in all cases in Rules, many items removed and other items adjusted, Missions and Quests further defined. added movement speed derivation, Nyophid given DexMod+10% Racial Ability, Qualni's racial bonus of SPR+1 raised to SPR+3. Automation of the battle system continues. Other updates to come soon.

04/05/10 - Graphic and System Updates
Changed the Shifter icon, reviewing battle system to ensure balance, and working on background history to guarantee uniformity. We're toying with a few other ideas,
as well, but until they're fleshed out better we're not going to announce them.
