Description: Only of average height, 4'0 to 6'0 tall, and possessing a very thin body, a typical Tianox does not pose much threat. However, the Tianox are a race that has mastered the mystical arts. While a Tianox opponent may never even touch a finger to your skin, you may very well find yourself completely incapacitated, struck down by nature, or lit aflame. Other races find it difficult to interact with Tianox due to their fondness for communicating via telepathy. This bizarre method of communication, paired with their compound, insect-like eyes, place the Tianox at a disadvantage with other populations. The skin of the Tianox possesses green and brown pigments and their hair is usually either brown or black. Their heads are disproportionally large compared to their bodies.

History:

The legend behind the Tianox' superb mystical abilities states the origin of magic was a "great darkness followed by an explosion of light" that washed across "The World". Driven by curiosity, the first recorded Tianox migrated to what they determined to be the source of the "great light" - modern day Xera. It was at Xera the Tianox found what is referanced only as "The Way". From that day onward, the Tianox found themselves able to control the forces of magic at whim. The exact details of what occured that fateful day remains a mystery to all but the highest officials in the Tianox government.
