I believe in doctors to the extent that they are skilled and licensed to diagnose, medicate, and operate on the body. I can't imagine the world without them. But somehow the medical system of healing has become corrupted by aspirations other than the healing of the human body. Why do doctors prescribe drugs when there are alternative medicines? Some doctors receive money from Medicare for the drugs they administer to patients. In many cases, the drug costs the doctor less, thereby earning him a profit on even the medication. The drug industry is no different than any other industry, and doctors are human as well. Some seek personal gain at the disadvantage of patients who trust them. So when doctors prescribe drugs, which are shown to cause or worsen overall conditions of patients, someone other than the patient is reaping the benefits. (1) It's said that we consume so many prescription drugs, in addition to non-prescription, that our bodies are reacting negatively. We treat stress with a pill, pop a pill for a headache, take a pill for a cold, pop a pill for depression, swallow a pill for attention deficit, and a slue of other ailments. A pill is often a quick fix to a bigger problem. If we learn to manage that which causes the problem, there would be fewer people on anti-depressants, fewer people taking sick days and more productive human beings. Here's how to improve and maintain good health without drugs. I've listed some of the best fruits, vegetables, herbs, and minerals that you should consume daily. Read the facts and visit other informative sites for more information. For these to have an affect, you must purchase them, store them properly, and make a habit of consuming them every day. And remember, I am not a physician. Plants and minerals can react in a negative way when combined with other elements. You should contact your doctor before changing or pursuing any type of diet regimine. ♦ Grow your own Herb Garden

♦ Urine Theropy As disgusting as this may sound, urine theropy is used to prevent or cure sickness. It is said that it will fight the flu, the common cold, broken bones, toothache, dry skin, psoriasis, AIDS, allergies, animal and snake bites, asthma, heart disease, hypertension, burns, cancer, chemical intoxication, chicken pox, enteritis, constipation, pneumonia, and skin problems. (2) This would seem, to most, the miracle elixir, because of the many ailments it treats. The fact is that it's an enormous source of vital nutrients, vitamins, hormones, enzymes and important antibodies. It's the bodies own medicine. In fact, NASA's 2003 space shuttle mission anticipated a shortage of water and set up a system to recycle the crew member's urine. Urine is not a dirty, toxic substance flushed from the body as waste. It is, instead, the excess nutrients filtered from the blood by the kidneys.(3)
