Alumnae Tara Mathis, Jamena Scott, and Nyssa Thomas founded Voices of Soul as Brandeis Premier Coed A Cappella group in 2001, and unsurprisingly the group has blazed a trail here ever since. Performing the latest and greatest in the R&B music genre from the likes of R. Kelly, En Vogue, and Seal, to none other than Michael Jackson and the Black-eyed Peas, Voices of Soul has continued to break the mold. Campus-wide VoS is known and lauded for their electrifying and uniquely modern sound---a combination of exuberant performance energy and the ever-soulful harmonies of contemporary R&B!
