EMBRACING THE WORLD WITH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

WHAT IS WORLDWIDE REVIVAL?

Worldwide Revival International Ministries was established in 2003 to embrace the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our chat room is non-denominational and reaches out to all of the world through Inter-Relay-Chat on the Opera server to all of Europe and the rest of the world. Our mission is to educate and teach people and for world wide revival. So we hope to enter all foreign countries and to areas where no one has heard the word. A few years back when I was hospitalized and asleep the Holy Spirit told me there was a need to communicate through various means such as telephone, fax, cb radio, etc and we chose to use the internet as soon as we obtained a computer where I met other people who shared my ideals and I built this website.
If you look further down on this page you will see a testimonal and a praise report from Joseph who lives in Ghana whom we saved from committing sucide. I think you will find his letter very interesting. We are still small in size but we are growing.

A TESTIMONIAL FROM BROTHER JOSEPH

                    TESTIMONY  IN ENGLISH

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ.
I’m here today thanking the Lord not only for what he has done but also what he is doing in my life. I’m someone who, few years ago thought that all was over for me in this world. Few years back, I was thinking that it’s better to die and finally be at rest than to live that miserable life I was living, especially when I lost almost everything during the war in my country, friends and relatives forsook me, there was nobody out there to help me and the more I prayed was the more things were becoming tougher and harder for me.

         Almost a year ago, I established a contact with a brother in Christ in the USA whom I met online (Internet) . After having read part of the bitter story of my miserable life, this brother named Oreo assured me that all was not yet over for me as, according to him, the Lord has something f! or me in stock. To me, this brother was just building castles in the air for me. Few months later, he introduced me to another brother in Christ named Matt who wrote and told me almost the same thing brother Oreo told me earlier and; he further promised me that everything will be alright for me in the name of Jesus. Even though I was not 100% optimistic about all they told me but I decided to try Jesus once more; what did I do? I resumed reading the Holy Bible, saying my daily prayers and attending church services, which I had stopped for quite a long time. Few weeks later, I surprisingly started receiving financial assistance (Funding) from brother Matt to help me pay for an accommodation and my daily bread when I was already homeless and starving to death in a foreign land.
               My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I have co! me back to the house of the Lord to thank and continue to praise and serve him not only because of the assistance I got from these Godly people but especially because they’ve convinced me that whatever they do for me comes from Jesus Christ. So I think I should be grateful to the Lord for what he has done for me:
-         When the rebels burnt down our house during the war in my country, the Lord has given me a new house.
-         When my intimate friends abandoned me, the Lord has given me new friends
-         When my brothers forsook me, the Lord has given me new brothers

This is my message to all my brothers and sisters out there, especially those of you who think that all is over for you in this world:
Don’t ever give up in life, even to the point of death.
No matter what you are going through,
No matter the problem and
No matter the situation you are facing, do not ever give up as the Lord is always there for you; he  sees and knows all your problems; he’s aware of  every little thing that’s happening with you, it’s just a matter of time. So keep the faith burning in you and wait for that time to come when everything will be OK for you. Today is my turn and tomorrow will surely be yours.

I HOPE TO MEET YOU ALL IN HEAVEN WHERE WE’LL LIVE FOREVER.

KINDLY FORWARD THIS MESSAGE TO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS OUT THERE ESP. THOSE WHO ARE FACING DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE.

Remember!
While the Rich man needs a lot to be happy, the poor man out here needs just a little to be among the happiest on earth.

By brother Joseph, a Sierra Leonean, (28 yrs) presently residing in Accra the capital of Ghana, West Africa.

                          IN FRENCH
Chers frèr at sœurs en Chrsit,

          Je établi, il y un an de cela, un contact avec un frère en Christ au Etat Unis d’Amérique dont la connaissance j’ai fais sur le Net (Internet). Après avoir lu une partie de l’histoire de ma vie misérable, ce frère appellé Oreo m’assura que tout n’était pas encore finis pour moi car, selon lui, l’Eternel m’avait réservé quelque chose. Pour moi, tout ce que le frère disait étais immaginaire. A peu près un mois plus tard, il me mit en contact avec un autre frère en Christ appellé Matt qui écrit et me dit presque la même chose que le frère Oreo m’avait dit au paravant ; il me promit en plus  que tout ira pour moi au nom de Jésus . Bien que je n’étais pas 100% optimiste pour tout ce qu’ils m’ont dit, je décidai  d’essayer Jésus une fois encore. Que fis-je ? Je reccommencai à lire La Saite Bible, faire mes prières quotidiennes et aller à l’église ce que j’avais cessé depuis long temps. Quellesques semaines plus tard, ! le frère Matt commença à m’envoyer des soutiens  financiers pour m’aider à faire le paiement d’un logement et mon pain quotidien quand j’étais déjà sans abri mourrais de faim dans un pays étranger.

         Chers frères et sœurs en Christ, je suis revenu à la maison de l’Eternel pour lui remercier et continuer à  le louyer et lui servir non seulement à  cause de soutien m'ont accordé ces hommes de Dieu mais surtout du fait que ils m'ont convaicu que tout ce qu'ils font pour moi proviet de Jésus Christ; alors je pense que je dois reconnaïtre tout ce que l'Eternel a fait pour moi:
- lorsque les reblles avaient brûlé notre maison pendant la guerre dans mon pays, l'Eternel m'a donné une nouvelle maison;
- lorsque mes amis intimes m'abandonnèrent, l'Eternel m'a donné des nouveaux amis;
-lorsque mes frères me boudèrent, l'Eternel m'a donné des nouveaux frères.

Quelle que soit la situation;
Quel que soit le problème;
Quelle que soit la souffrance;

HOW GOD FEELS ABOUT THE WAY YOU CONDUCT YOUR BUSINESS AFFAIRS. HE EVEN TAKES NOTICE OF THE MANNER IN WHICH YOU BUY AND SELL.

  Does God care about how you conduct your business affairs? Does He even take notice of the manner in which you buy and sell? If so, does He only care about the business life of Christians, or does He care how non-Christians behave in the business world as well? As a buyer or a seller, as a customer or a vendor, does it matter to God whether you do it right or not?

 Proverbs 11:1 gives some clear insight to answer these questions: "The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight." This verse is addressed to people in general, whether Christian or not, so I think it’s fair to conclude that God cares about how people in general conduct their business affairs. After all, we know that God made the earth and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. So, He cares about His creation and how we operate in it.

 Dishonest scales represent cheating people. Suppose, for example, you went to a grocer to buy bananas which sold for $.49 per pound. When you went to pay for the bananas, the scales said you had five pounds of bananas, so you paid $2.45 for your bananas. If you discovered later that your bananas only weighed four pounds, you would accuse the grocer of dishonest scales. He cheated you out of $.49, assuming that the scales were deliberately mis-calibrated.

 If you purchased gasoline for your car and then learned that the service station owner had adjusted the pumps so that one gallon registered as 1.2 gallons, you would be furious because of those dishonest scales. He would be swindling you out of money, and thereby improving his profits dishonestly.

 The Lord abhors any business practice like that, whether simple or sophisticated. Another translation of Proverbs 11:1 says that a false balance is an abomination to the Lord. This is very strong language. The Holy Spirit wants us to know that God hates deceitfulness and deception of any kind when it comes to business transactions. It offends Him personally when we misrepresent anything in a business transaction, when we fudge the numbers a bit to make a better impression, when we tip the scales in our favor. God sees it; He knows it; and He hates it!

 Therefore, all of us need to be extremely careful in all of our everyday business dealings to make sure we’re not guilty of using "dishonest scales" of any description. We need to be squeaky clean in all of our business transactions, whether we’re the buyer or the seller, because God hates dishonesty in business.

 God vigorously hates swindling and deception, but he takes delight when someone is very honest in their business dealings. This applies to Christians and non-Christians alike. If you want to please God—and certainly if you’re born from above, that should be your highest priority—then you will want to make certain that you use accurate weights in all your business dealings, because the Lord delights in that.

 Here is a modern day example of what is meant by "dishonest scales":

 When a seller does not reveal the whole truth about what he or she is selling, that is tipping the scales toward dishonesty and deception. Those of you who are in a sales position have a great responsibility to pay attention to the admonition of Proverbs 11:1, because your selling techniques can easily slide into the deceptive mode. I know, because I began my career as a sales representative for IBM, and you can want to close that sale so badly that it is tempting to say whatever you have to in order to get a signature on the dotted line.

 I’ve noticed lately a radio ad for an insurance company where the sales representative informs the prospect that he cannot give him the best price on that particular policy. The customer is shocked at his honesty, but the sales rep replies that they do the right thing for the customer regardless. How refreshing to see that marketing approach—that honesty is still the best policy. And believe me, in the long run being honest with your customers is good for business.

 Even if a prospective buyer is not educated enough to ask the right questions, you should disclose all the important facts about your product, positive and negative. Remember, God hates dishonest scales and He knows when you do anything deceptive in order to close a sale.

 Not too many of you are in sales positions, but all of you are buyers. When a buyer tries to pay less than the honest value of an item, that is an example of what Proverbs 11:1 means by dishonest scales.

 Do you try to get the best bargain you can when you shop? I can tell you that I love a bargain and it makes me feel very good when I get a really good value for my money. Certainly all of us should be good stewards of our money, doing our comparison shopping so that we get the biggest bang for our bucks, as we say.

 But you know, you must be careful as a buyer that you don’t take advantage of a seller. If a buyer takes advantage of a seller’s situation and uses it as a way to swindle that seller out of a fair price, that is a false scale in God’s eyes. We may call it shrewd negotiating, but when we knowingly take advantage of a seller, it crosses over the line of good business sense and becomes sin.

 Proverbs 20:14 describes this scenario vividly: "'It’s no good, it’s no good!' says the buyer; then off he goes and boasts about his purchase." I’ve heard people do that, haven’t you? They brag about how they fooled somebody and got something dirt cheap, or how they took advantage of someone needing money badly and bargained them out of a fair price for their product.

 God hates it. It’s an abomination to Him. Remember that the next time you’re tempted to cheat someone out of a fair price. It delights God when we do the right thing in business dealings, whether buying or selling.

 Notice also Proverbs 20:17: "Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a mouth full of gravel." We are warned that if we use deception or dishonesty of any kind to secure our earnings, it may seem sweet at first. It may feel successful at first, but it will end up choking us.

 This would include any dishonesty on our income tax returns. Now, none of us like to pay taxes, but the truth is, we owe taxes for services we receive. Yes, I know there is far too much waste and corruption in our government. It’s true that our money is not always used well and the bureaucracy of government can be disgusting. But Jesus taught us that we are to render to Caesar what is due to Caesar, and Caesar represents the government over us.

 What about your expense accounts? How easy it is to fudge on those expenses! But that is money earned by deceit, by fraud, and it will choke you. You know, I’m convinced that people who try to cheat in matters like these, even though they think they earned a little money, will pay for it dearly some other way.

 I think of a business man I know who tries to squeeze every penny out of every person and every transaction. He seems to be obsessed with getting as much money as he can, and he is not always up front and honest in his dealings. People have learned that you can’t take what he says at face value. As I’ve watched him over some time, I’ve noticed how he never seems to get ahead like he wants to. Something always happens to use up that money he’s deceptively earned.

 Remember, God is passionately concerned with how you conduct your business. He hates dishonesty, taking advantage of people, trying to get something that is not rightfully due to you. Whether it’s a small thing on a business expense or a large swindle, God abhors dishonest scales. But He delights in the person who is scrupulously honest in business dealings.

 Think of what Jesus told us. He said, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven" (Matt. 5:16). He teaches us that good deeds, doing the right thing, being honest and forthright is a testimony to the dark world around us, and it will cause people to praise God.

 I remember many years ago my mother bought some curtains, and when she got home she realized that the clerk had under-charged her for those curtains. Well, she just couldn’t get in the car and get back to that store fast enough to clarify that mistake and pay the fair price for those curtains.

 The clerk was astonished when mom returned to the store to pay what she owed. Can you imagine how many people would ever do that? Haven’t you ever thought, "Well, if they made the mistake, then they should pay for that mistake. I’m not obligated to point out their mistakes to them." Most people would certainly react that way, and just figure they got themselves a good deal in those curtains. But my mom and dad were always scrupulously honest, and it never even occurred to her to do anything else except go back and pay what she owed.

 In her own simple way, her light was shining bright before people who most likely were not believers. And her behavior was unexplainable from a human perspective. How do you explain that kind of honesty? Only God could make a person want to be that honest, so the glory goes to God.

 Think about that: When people see our good deeds, our honesty in the business world, our refusal to take advantage or deceive or fudge the numbers, it causes them to stop and think about what makes us that way. And that gives us an opportunity to glorify our Father in heaven. God delights in us when we have that kind of honesty in our business transactions.

 So, remember, as you go about your business dealings today and next week and from now on, God cares deeply about how honest you are. He abhors dishonest business deals, but he delights when we are careful to always be squeaky clean in our business transactions.

Salvation Prayer

You can have everlasting life with God only by your faith in Jesus Christ. His death on the cross removed forever all your sins, and believing in His resurrection from the dead will give you everlasting life with Him. God knows your heart. But you can talk to God. Tell Him that you believe and trust in what Jesus Christ has done for you. Pray to God from your heart. Dear God, I know that I have done many sinful deeds. I know that no one can be justified before You by keeping commandments or doing good works because no one can be perfect. I believe that You came to earth as a man, Jesus Christ. I believe Jesus took upon Himself the sins of the whole world when He was crucified and physically died on a cruel cross at Calvary. I believe Jesus Christ was buried. I believe in my heart that on the third day You, God, physically raised Jesus bodily from the dead. I believe Jesus ascended to Heaven and sat down at Your right hand where He reigns as my Advocate. I believe that You, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit are one God. I thank Jesus for taking away my sins forever. I believe Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe You will send the Holy Spirit to live within me. I believe I am born again in the Spirit and will now have eternal life with You. Thank You, God, for forgiving me and giving me everlasting life. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

GOD LOVES US ALL UNCONDITIONALLY

A MEMO FROM GOD

Author Unknown

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Subject:  YOU
Reference: LIFE

I am GOD. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do NOT need your help.

If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for GOD to do) box. All situations will be resolved, but in MY time, not yours.

Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic; don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unreachable privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend;  Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new grey hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

  Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking, "What is my purpose?" Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance and vicious words due to smallness and self-insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Should you decide to send this to a friend; Thank you, you may have touched their life in ways you will never know.

Have a beautiful day!
