The MUSH has a rating system so people can give an indication of what they 
don't want to (or shouldn't) see on the game. Please check 'news rating', 
'+help ratings' and 'news minors' for details on the systerm and how it 
works.
Xanadu has long had a strict and formal policy about ratings. In public rooms 
and on the knot, all RP and chat MUST be kept to a PG or G rating. Public 
rooms are those which anyone on the game may walk into -- such as the Main 
Clearing, the Living Cavern or the Hatching Galleries. As a general rule, if 
the room is owned by XWB, it is a public room unless explicitly stated 
otherwise*. Private room roleplay should be kept to the level of the lowest 
rated character present.
However, no matter what someone's rating is, they are entitled to ask you to 
stop something that makes them uncomfortable or which they do not wish to see 
RPed or chatted about. If this occurs, STOP. No matter what your opinions or 
feelings, continuing RP or chat in such a situation is harassment. If you 
feel it was an unjust request, send @mail to the Xanadu Weyrleaders about it 
and they will talk to you and the other people involved and do their best to 
sort out the problem.

* Note: the Candidate Barracks and the Weyrling Barracks are special cases. 
They are /not/ public rooms but RP in them should still be kept to PG or G.
