When Weyrs and dragons fought Thread, Wings were an essential unit in battle 
techniques. Today, Wings are used to simplify organisation and their size 
matters much less. Xanadu has a total of ten Wings at the present time.
Quasar: (Weyrleader's Wing) C'ian (WL) and L'alie (Wi2).
Nova: (Queen's Wing) Niva (Sr)
Galaxy: T'eo (Wil) and NPC (Wi2)
Comet: Kysli (WiL) and NPC (Wi2).
Nebula: Asiree (WiL), Lahela (Wi2), and M'iri (W2).
Asteroid: No WiL or Wi2nd
Meteor:: C'rone (WiL) and F'ssil (NPC) (Wi2).
Pulsar: (Weyrling Wing) S'ver (WLM), Asiree (AWLM) and C'yr (AWLM).

----------------------- Global XawHelp System: Quasar ------------------------

The Quasar wing is the Weyrleader's Wing, with the Weyrleader leading the Wing 
and with his Weyrseconds or Wingseconds for support. It is primarily an 
administrative wing, tending to be fairly small, and is a home for riders who 
have particular, unusual skills -- for instance, dragonhealer or Weyrsinger. 
Quasar also houses visitors from other Weyrs and any rider who, for whatever 
reason, is not suited to one of the other wings.

----------------------- Global XawHelp System: Nova -------------------------

Nova is the gold wing and the primary duties here are what is 
responsibilities of the Weyrwoman: co-ordination between riders and weyrfolk,
communication, Pernese air traffic control and the IC management of Search. 
The Senior Weyrwoman leads the gold wing and the Juniors act as Wingseconds.

---------------------- Global XawHelp System: Comet   -----------------------

Comet is the Transport and Messagery wing, responsible for couriering of 
both packets/letters and passengers.

---------------------- Global XawHelp System: Galaxy  -----------------------

Cyclone is Search and Rescue and this is the wing who is expected to handle 
most emergencies and to extend help to those who look to Xanadu for 
protection.

---------------------- Global XawHelp System: Nebula ------------------------

Nebula is the technical wing, responsible for the addition, integration, 
and maintenance of technology in the Weyr.

--------------------- Global XawHelp System: Asteroid -----------------------

Asteroid is the Crafter's wing - All crafters, whether they are riders or not,
are in this wing. They are free to practice their own crafts as their weyr duty.

----------------------- Global XawHelp System: Meteor -----------------------

Meteor belongs primarily to the elderly riders and has very few official 
duties. Occasionally, riders who are permanently unable to carry out normal 
duties will be assigned to this wing as well.

--------------------- Global XawHelp System: Pulsar -------------------------

Pulsar is the Weyrling wing, where all new riders are assigned until they 
graduate from weyrlinghood. The Weyrlingmaster and his/her assistants are a
permanent part of this wing as well. Older Weyrlings are usually assigned to
'elevator' duty, ferrying people, goods and messages up and down from ledges 
in the cliff.
